Tata Consumer Products Q3 FY26 results: Net profit rises 38% to Rs 385 crore; revenue up 15% – details
Tata Consumer Products Ltd on Tuesday reported a year-on-year improvement in its financial performance for the third quarter ended December 31, 2025, driven by strong volume-led growth across its India and international businesses.
Revenue from operations during the quarter rose about 15 per cent to Rs 5,112 crore, compared with Rs 4,443.56 crore in the same period last year. Total income increased around 14 per cent to Rs 5,145.01 crore. Total expenses for the quarter grew nearly 12 per cent to Rs 4,582.24 crore.
Net profit for the quarter rose about 38 per cent to Rs 384.61 crore from Rs 278.88 crore a year ago. Consolidated EBITDA for the quarter stood at Rs 728 crore, marking a growth of 26 per cent.
The company said it delivered strong volume-led topline growth of 15 per cent during the quarter, with the India Branded business reporting underlying volume growth of 15 per cent.
In India, the branded foods and beverages businesses continued to show momentum. The salt business recorded its fourth consecutive quarter of double-digit growth, while the India tea business continued to grow, with margins returning to the normative range as the benefit of lower input costs was passed on to consumers.
The Tata Sampann portfolio accelerated its growth momentum during the quarter, while the Ready-to-Drink (RTD) business delivered a robust performance. Overall, the company's “growth” businesses recorded a growth of 29 per cent during the quarter.
The Indian packaged beverages business reported revenue growth of 3 per cent in the quarter. Coffee continued its strong trajectory, registering revenue growth of 40 per cent. Tata Coffee Grand Premium launched its first-ever brand campaign in non-South markets under the #NotJustYourRegularCoffee campaign.
The RTD business recorded its second consecutive quarter of double-digit growth, with revenue rising 26 per cent. During the quarter, Tetley entered the RTD tea segment with the launch of Tetley Green Tea Slimcare and Tetley Fruit Tea.
The India foods business reported revenue growth of 19 per cent during the quarter. Salt revenue rose 14 per cent, supported by strong volume growth. The Tata Sampann portfolio grew 45 per cent, led by new launches and innovations.
Tata Himalayan Rock Salt Crystal was launched to strengthen the company's presence in the rock salt category. Capital Foods also accelerated innovation with new product launches, including Ching's Premium Soy Sauces and a range of premium stir-fry sauces.
The international business continued to show steady momentum. International revenue grew 11 per cent in constant currency terms during the quarter, led by strong coffee performance in the United States.
In the US, the coffee business registered strong growth, with Eight O'Clock Coffee continuing to gain market share. In Canada, Tetley was the fastest-growing brand in the speciality tea segment, according to Nielsen IQ data.
The non-branded business also continued its momentum, reporting constant-currency revenue growth of 20 per cent during the quarter.
Tata Starbucks crossed the milestone of 500 stores during the quarter, reinforcing its market position. The company added 12 net new stores, taking the total store count to 504 across 81 cities. Key growth drivers during the quarter included beverage collaborations with Baileys, continued innovation in the food programme, and an expanded Diwali gifting portfolio.
Commenting on the performance, Sunil D'Souza, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Tata Consumer Products, said, “Q3FY26 marked another quarter of strong, broad-based performance for Tata Consumer Products, led by healthy volume-led growth and sustained momentum across our core as well as growth businesses.”
He added that the India-branded business delivered double-digit underlying volume growth, with foods and beverages continuing on a strong trajectory driven by execution, portfolio expansion and premiumisation. He said innovation remained a key growth engine, with 15 new launches during the quarter across health and wellness, convenience and premium segments.
