CGBSE Chhattisgarh Board 10th, 12th Result 2026 Release Time, Link Live Updates: The Chhattisgarh Board Class 10 and 12 results will be announced today, April 29, at 2:30 pm, as stated by the state Education Minister. Once released, students can check their results on the official websites cgbse.nic.in and results.cg.nic.in, as well as through the DigiLocker app and website at digilocker.gov.in.
To pass the Class 10 and 12 board examinations conducted by the Chhattisgarh Board, students must obtain at least 33 per cent marks in each subject and in the overall aggregate. Students who fail in one or two subjects in the Class 10 examination, and in one subject in the Class 12 examination, will be given a chance to appear in the compartment examination, so that their year-long efforts are not wasted.
Step 1 – First, visit the official website of CGBSE or CG Board — cgbse.nic.in.
Step 2 – After the website opens, look for and click on the class-wise result link.
Step 3 – Enter your login credentials and hit enter.
Step 4 – The CG Board 10th/12th results will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5 – Check for any errors on the online marksheet and download the page for further use.
For the 2026 Class 12 results, the Chhattisgarh Board introduced a major change in the evaluation process by adopting the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system, juts like CBSE. Under this system, the evaluation of answer sheets was carried out entirely in digital format. Before the evaluation commenced, all selected examiners received a link to the OSM portal, along with a login ID and password, via email. These credentials were provided only to those examiners whose names had already been updated on the OASIS portal by their respective schools.
To pass the Chhattisgarh Board 10th and 12th exams, students must obtain at least 33% marks, calculated on the total of theory papers and internal assessment. Students who fail in one or two subjects can appear for compartment exams. Those who fail in more than two subjects must take admission in the next academic year and clear the board exams that year with a minimum of 33% marks.
The Chhattisgarh board exam results will be declared today, April 29th. The results will be released at 2:30 PM.
If a student fails in one or two subjects, they will get a chance to appear in the compartment examination and can still pass in the same year. However, if a student fails in more than two subjects, they will have to take admission again in the next academic session and appear in the examination.
More than five lakh students are awaiting the Chhattisgarh Board 10th and 12th results. This year, around 3.21 lakh students appeared for the 10th class exams, while about 2.45 lakh students took the 12th class exams. The exams were conducted successfully at various centres across the state.
Students can also check their results via the UMANG app, which is integrated with DigiLocker. To do so, open the UMANG app or website, navigate to the DigiLocker section, and search for CGBSE Board. After logging in, enter your roll number, school code, and other required details to view your marksheet.
If students face any difficulty viewing their results online, they should contact their respective school principals. The CGBSE board is also expected to issue a helpline number around the time the results are declared. Students are advised to regularly check cgbse.nic.in for official updates.

The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) is set to release the 10th and 12th results today. Education Minister Gajendra Yadav announced the date and time of the results in a post on X on Tuesday, stating that the high school and intermediate results will be declared at 2:30 pm. The link to check the 12th board results will be activated on the official websites, cgbse.nic.in and results.cg.nic.in. Students will be able to access their CG Board 12th results using their roll number.
Along with the results, the Chhattisgarh Board is also expected to announce the district-wise and state-level toppers at a press conference at 2:30 pm. Students who excel in Class 10 and Class 12 across the Science, Arts, and Commerce streams will be honoured by the Education Minister.
Chhattisgarh Education Minister Gajendra Yadav extended his best wishes to students in grades 10 and 12. He also encouraged students who are weak in their studies.

Students who took the Chhattisgarh Board 10th and 12th class exams will be able to check their results online today at 2:30 PM. However, it’s crucial to have your board roll number. Make sure to note it down safely beforehand. Without it, you won’t be able to view your results.
The Chhattisgarh Board 12th results will be declared at a press conference. Afterwards, a link to check the results for all three Class 12 streams—Arts, Science, and Commerce—will be made available on the official website.

Last year, 238,626 students appeared for the CGBSE Class 12 exam, of whom 194,906 passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 81.87 percent. Akhil Sen from Kanker secured the top position in the Class 12 exam in 2025.
