Once released, candidates who took the exam will be able to check and download their Rajasthan Board Class 10th Result 2026 by visiting the official websites at rajresults.nic.in and rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. It can also be accessed through SMS facility and via the DigiLocker app. Along with the results, the board will also release data on overall pass percentage, gender-wise results, district-wise performance, and other key statistics.

This year, the exams ran from February 12 to February 28, 2026. Over 10 lakh students appear for the RBSE 10th exams every year. Last year, 93.60% of the students who took the exams, passed while 93.03% of students cleared the 10th board exams in 2024.

Trends over the past few years indicate that the pass percentage of female students in the Rajasthan Board exams is higher than that of male students. In the RBSE Class 10 Result 2025, girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 94.08%, while boys achieved 93.16%.

Students dissatisfied with their marks can apply online within 15 days of the result being declared. If you apply within seven days, you will have to pay a fee of Rs 300 per subject and Rs 600 per subject thereafter. Students who fail in one or two subjects can take the supplementary exam of Rajasthan Board.

To pass the Rajasthan Board 10th exam 2026, it is mandatory to score at least 33% marks in each subject and overall.

The Rajasthan Board usually announces the 10th result in late March or April, as exams are held in March. However, this year the Education Department decided to commence the new session on April 1st. Consequently, exams were conducted earlier, from February 12th to February 28th, 2026, and the evaluation of copies is being expedited. For the first time, the board aims to release the 10th result in March itself, ensuring the new session starts on time.

Just like CBSE, the 10th board exams will be held twice a year. This process will begin from 2027. The first session will be in February and the second in May. The proposal has been sent to the state government for approval. This change will provide more opportunities for students. If they perform poorly the first time, they can improve the second time.

In addition to the 10th board results, the 5th-8th board exam results will be released on March 24th. The results of the common question paper scheme will also be released on the same day. This will ensure that parents can see their children’s results during the mega PTA meeting on March 25th. However, this time, under the Right to Education Act, the no-detention policy for the 5th and 8th board exams has been abolished in Rajasthan, requiring students appearing for the 5th board exam to score a minimum of 32 marks. Failure to do so will result in a failure and the student will be given another chance to retake the exam.

A total of 19.89 lakh students appeared for the 10th and 12th exams this year. However, last year, there were 10,92,615 students in the 10th grade. The number has dropped to 10,68,078 this year. Similarly, if we look at the data for the 10th board exams over the past four to five years, there have been increases and decreases in the number of students. In 2022, a total of 10,90,815 students appeared for the 10th board exam, followed by 10,64,312 in 2023, 10,58,820 in 2024, 10,92,615 in 2025, and 10,68,078 in 2026.

To clear the RBSE Class 10 or BSER secondary exams, students must secure a minimum of 33 per cent marks or at least a grade D in each subject as well as in the overall aggregate. Those who fail to meet the required criteria will be considered unsuccessful and will need to appear for the supplementary examinations.

This year, the board conducted the 10th-grade exams early. These exams ran from February 12 to February 28, 2026. The reason is that the education department wants to start the new session on April 1, 2026, so the courses and exams were completed early. Typically, exams end in March, and results are released in April-May. However, this year, the results will be released in March. This is the first time that the 10th results will be announced this early.

If a student’s marks range between 91-100, they will be awarded an A1 grade. Marks between 81-90 result in an A2 grade. Students scoring between 71-80 will receive a B1 grade, while those with marks between 61-70 will get a B2 grade. Scores between 51-60 and 41-50 correspond to C1 and C2 grades, respectively. Students who score between 33-40 will receive a D grade. Those who score below 33 per cent will be considered as having failed.

Usually, the State Education Minister declares the results for RBSE class 10 students. Last year, Madan Dilawar declared the Rajasthan Board Class 10 results on May 28 at 4 pm via video conference from Kota.
