Vijayawada Kanaka Durga Temple Online Darshan: The Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam, also known as the Kanaka Durga Temple in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, is gearing up to introduce online services for the convenience of devotees. The digital services aim will enable devotees to book darshan slots, sevas, and other services online, eliminating the need to wait in long queues.
According to a News18 report, devotees will be able to book darshan tickets, reserve sevas, purchase prasadam, arrange parking, and make donations through the official websites kanakadurgamma.org and aptemple.org, as well as through the Kanakadurgamma Temple and Mana Mitra mobile applications.
To book online services, devotees should have a valid ID proof. Additionally, bookings must be made at least two days in advance. Here's the step-by-step guide to book darshan and sevas:
Visit kanakadurgamma.org or aptemple.org.
Sign in or create an account using a valid email ID.
Go to the Online Booking or Sevas and Darshanam section.
Select the seva or pooja, choose a preferred date (green indicates availability) and time slot.
Enter the required details, including name, date of birth, phone number, gender and valid ID proof (Aadhaar or PAN).
Confirm the booking and complete the payment using UPI, debit or credit card or net banking.
An e-ticket will be sent via SMS or email. Print it and carry it along with the original ID proof.
Arrive at least 30 minutes early and strictly follow the temple dress code. Electronic items are not permitted, and refunds will not be issued.
Shanthi Kalyanam: Rs 500 for two persons
Sri Chakra Navaavaranarchana: Rs 516 for up to five persons
Rudra Abhishekam: Rs 1,040 for two persons (annual)
Chandi Homam: Rs 516
Kumara Swamy Vaari Kalyanam: Rs 500
Other services include Sahasra Namarchana, Suprabatham, Abhishekam and Purnahuti Homam, News18 report added. Upon the completion of seva (devotional services), devotees are entitled to free darshan and prasadam.
Special Darshan Tickets: Priced between Rs 100 and Rs 500 for priority entry during designated time slots.
Free Darshan: No advance booking is required, though devotees can check online queue updates.
Prasadam: Laddoo packs can be booked online and collected at the temple.
e-Hundi: Devotees can make donations online directly to the temple.
Parking and Accommodation: Parking spaces and accommodation rooms can be reserved online.
Devotees are advised to carry printed e-tickets along with original ID proof, arrive early to avoid the crowd, and strictly follow the temple's dress code.
