Punjabi-Canadian Businessman Darshan Singh Sahsi Shot Dead Outside His Home In Canada
Prominent Punjabi-Canadian businessman Darshan Singh Sahsi, 68, was shot dead outside his residence in Abbotsford, British Columbia, on Monday morning.
Sahsi, originally from Rajgarh village near Doraha in Ludhiana district, was the president of Canam International, one of the world's leading clothing recycling companies.
According to the Abbotsford Police Department, the shooting occurred around 9:22 am. Preliminary investigations point to the fact that the attacker was waiting in a car parked near the victim's home. As Sahsi entered his vehicle, the suspect opened fire before speeding away.

Police officers responding to the incident found the 68-year-old businessman inside his car with life-threatening gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical assistance from first responders, Sahsi succumbed to his injuries.
An investigation into the killing is underway, and police have urged witnesses or anyone with surveillance footage from the area to come forward.
