“Proud and grateful for all my amazing teammates, coach and Superbet foundation for this wonderful experience," the World Champion added.
Gukesh, who started playing the event from Round 3, managed to secure the Individual Gold with 4 points out of 5 with 2 draws and 3 wins.
The victory provides a significant confidence boost, helping him regain momentum after a period of inconsistent form since becoming World Champion.
In the women's section, Divya claimed gold on the second board, leading her team, Cercle d'Échecs de Monte Carlo, to the championship. As the sole female competitor in the upcoming World Cup, her outstanding performance gives her a strong advantage ahead of the tournament in India.
Divya delivered an exceptional performance, finishing with a rating performance of 2591, 100 points above her actual rating of 2497. This is expected to push her past the 2500 mark in November's official list, a milestone that would earn her the Grandmaster title.

Gukesh is set to see a rating boost from this competition. After losing points at last month's Grand Swiss Open in Uzbekistan, he slipped out of the top 10, ranking 11th with a 2752 rating in this month's list.
In Rhodes, Gukesh posted an impressive performance rating of 2927. Competing against the top players from opposing teams on the top board, his standout performance bodes well for him ahead of the upcoming marquee event.
