JEE Main 2026: NTA To Open Correction Window On This Date; Check What Can Be Edited
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that candidates appearing for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2026 Session 1 will get a one-time chance to edit their application details. The correction window will be available from 1 December to 2 December 2025, until 11:50 pm.
The decision was taken after several students requested a facility to fix errors in their submitted forms. Candidates who have already registered are advised to log in at jeemain.nta.nic.in and carefully review the information they provided. The NTA has made it clear that no additional correction opportunity will be offered once the window closes.
During the editing process, candidates may have to pay an additional fee, wherever applicable. The agency has also clarified that fees already paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
The last date to submit the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 application form is 27 November 2025, and the NTA has confirmed that the registration deadline will not be extended.

How To Edit JEE Main 2026 Form?
Step 1: Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the correction window.
Step 3: Log in with your application number and password/DOB.
Step 4: Open the edit application form.
Step 5: Make the required changes.
Step 6: Upload documents (if asked).
Step 7: Pay extra fee (if applicable).
Step 8: Review your form carefully.
