JEE Main Session 1 Correction Window Opens At jeemain.nta.nic.in, Know How To Make Changes
JEE Main Exam 2025 Session 1 Correction Window: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the correction window for JEE Main 2025 Session 1 today, December 1. Candidates who need to edit their application form can do so on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The facility will remain open until December 2, after which no changes will be permitted.
NTA has clarified that candidates can edit their application details only within the allowed fields. If any correction leads to an additional fee, it must be paid online through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI.
Candidates will be allowed to correct details such as name of candidate, father or mother's name, Class 10 and 12 information, state code of eligibility, exam cities preference, medium of exam, date of birth, gender, category, sub-category, signature, and Aadhaar details. However, certain fields such as registered mobile number, email ID, permanent and present address, emergency contact, and photographs cannot be changed.
What Can And Cannot Be Changed
Cannot be changed: Mobile number, email address, address, emergency contacts, photo, signature
Can change one field among: Candidate name, father's name, mother's name
Can change fully: Class 10 and 12 details, State Code of Eligibility
Can change with restrictions: Exam city and medium of exam (based on address, but not guaranteed)
Can change completely: DOB, gender, category, PwD status (if not UDID verified), signature, exam paper
Can add: Aadhaar details (only if Aadhaar-verified)
If any correction impacts the fee category, candidates will have to pay the additional amount. No fee refunds will be issued.

The JEE Main application window was open from October 31 to November 27, 2025. The city intimation slip is expected in the first week of January 2026, and admit cards will be issued 3–4 days before the exam. The exam will be held from January 21 to January 30, 2026. The question paper and answer keys will be released afterwards on the NTA portal.
