ICSE, ISC Time Table 2026 Out At cisce.org, Check Dates Here

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has released the timetable for the ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 board exams for the year 2026. According to the schedule announced on November 13, the ICSE exams will be held from February 17 to March 30, 2026, while the ISC exams will take place from February 12 to April 6, 2026.

This year's exams will begin earlier than in 2025, when Class 10 exams started on February 18 and Class 12 on February 13. The detailed datesheet includes 75 subjects for ICSE and 50 for ISC. Around 2.6 lakh students will appear for ICSE and 1.5 lakh students for ISC across India and abroad.

CISCE said the 2026 schedule has been designed to give students sufficient preparation time between major papers and to balance academic rigour with well-being. Dr Joseph Emmanuel, Chief Executive and Secretary of CISCE, said, “The release of the examination schedule is more than a calendar event — it is a moment of focus, anticipation, and aspiration for every learner. We have designed the timetable to ensure that preparation time translates into performance, not pressure."

He added that the board's evolving assessment system aims to move beyond rote learning to promote creativity, conceptual understanding, and critical thinking.

CISCE, which oversees more than 3,200 schools and serves over 3.5 million students with the support of 1.5 lakh teachers, continues to uphold its reputation for transparent, student-centric, and globally benchmarked assessments.
