CISCE ISC Class 12, ICSE Class 10 Result 2026 Live Updates: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has announced the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) board exam results 2026 today, April 30 at 11 AM. In ICSE, the overall qualified percentage of 98.84% while in ISC, 98.90% of the students passed the exams.

As many as 99,551 students appeared for the ISC (Class 12) exams last year, of whom 98,578 passed, resulting in an impressive overall pass percentage of 99.02%. Girls once again outperformed boys, recording a pass rate of 99.45% compared to 98.64% for boys. The ICSE (Class 10) results showed a similar pattern, with 99.37% of girls passing the exams, ahead of the 98.84% pass rate among boys. The overall pass percentage stood at 99.09%.

Students can now check and download their mark sheets from the official website at cisce.org, by entering their Unique ID and Index Number. Incase, students are unable to access the official website, the results can also be checked via SMS and DigiLocker app.

— A total of 44,410 candidates appeared for ICSE and 28,791 candidates appeared for ISC.

— In ICSE, 24,212 candidates (54.52%) are Boys and 20,198 candidates (45.48%) are Girls, with an overall qualified percentage of 98.84%.

— In ISC, 15,441 candidates (53.63%) are Boys and 13,350 candidates (46.37%) are Girls, with an overall qualified percentage of 98.90%.

The Northern region recorded the highest participation in both ICSE and ISC examinations. The Southern region emerged as the top performer with a pass percentage of 99.87% in ISC, followed by the Western region at 99.55%.

— The ISC examination saw participation from 1,553 schools, with 103,316 candidates, comprising 54,118 boys (52.38%) and 49,198 girls (47.62%). The ICSE examination was conducted across 2,957 schools, with 258,721 candidates appearing, including 137,503 boys (53.15%) and 121,218 girls (46.85%).

— In the ISC (Class XII) examination, 5,835 Scheduled Caste candidates achieved a pass percentage of 98.77%, and 3,786 Scheduled Tribe candidates recorded 98.84%. Among 19,191 Other Backward Classes candidates, the pass percentage stood at 99.12%, while 74,504 General Category candidates achieved a pass percentage of 99.17%.

A total of 99.13% of the students who took the ISC or class 12 exams, have passed the exam.

Of the total 258,721 candidates who appeared for the Class 10 or ICSE examination, 137,503 were boys and 121,218 were girls. Among these, 256,590 (136,032 boys and 120,558 girls) qualified, resulting in an impressive overall pass percentage of 99.18%.

The CISCE Classes 10 and 12 results for 2026 are now available on the official websites: cisce.org and results.cisce.org.

CISCE no longer releases an official list of toppers for ICSE (10th) and ISC (12th), a decision taken to reduce the pressure of excessive studies on students. No merit lists were issued in 2024 and 2025 either. The last ISC merit list was published in 2023, when five students, including three girls, shared the top position. However, students who perform well in individual subjects may still receive separate certificates.

Students dissatisfied with their scores can apply for re-evaluation via the CISCE Service Portal from May 1 to May 4, 2026. Those wishing to enhance their performance may register for improvement exams between May 8 and May 14, 2026. The improvement exams will begin on June 15, 2026, and the results are expected to be released in the final week of July.

The ICSE (10th) marksheet includes the student’s name, unique ID, index number, school name, exam year, and subject-wise marks, covering both external examinations and internal assessments. It also shows the total marks and the pass/fail status. From 2026 onwards, the marksheet will additionally feature a QR code and the official CISCE seal, facilitating easy verification. The digital marksheet available on results.cisce.org and DigiLocker will carry the same QR code and is recognised as valid for admission across India.

Step 2: On the homepage, enter your Index number, Unique ID and captcha code

Step 3: Click on the “view result” button and your CISCE Class 12th Result 2026 or CISCE Class 10th Result 2026 will be displayed on the screen.

Step 4: Download the CISCE Result 2026 and print a copy for future use.

The CISCE website is currently down. ICSE (10th) and ISC (12th) results can also be checked via SMS. To check ICSE 10th results, students should type “ICSE,” followed by a space, and then their 7-digit unique ID and send it to 09248082883. Similarly, for ISC 12th results, type “ISC,” followed by a space, and send their UID to the same number.

CISCE has released the ICSE and ISC results 2026.

The ICSE (Class 10) board exams were conducted from February 17 to March 30, 2026. This year, around 2.6 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 exams held at CISCE-affiliated schools in India and abroad. In 2025, as many as 252,557 students appeared for the exams, while in 2024, a total of 243,617 students took the exams, indicating a steady increase in the number of students every year.

ICSE, ISC Result 2026 LIVE Updates: After the ICSE (10th) and ISC (12th) results are declared, students who are dissatisfied with their marks can apply for re-evaluation of their answer sheets. They may apply for one or more subjects, but must submit their application online within three days of the declaration of results.

ICSE (10th) and ISC (12th) results can also be checked via SMS. To check ICSE 10th results, students should type “ICSE,” followed by a space, and then their 7-digit unique ID and send it to 09248082883. Similarly, for ISC 12th results, type “ISC,” followed by a space, and send their UID to the same number.

As soon as the ICSE (10th) and ISC (12th) results are declared, a large number of students visit the website at the same time, which may cause results.cisce.org to slow down or not load. In such situations, students can use DigiLocker (digilocker.gov.in) or the UMANG app to access their results. Both platforms provide official digital marksheets issued by CISCE and function on a different system than the main website, allowing students to view their results more easily.

Each year, when the ISC (12th) and ICSE (10th) results are declared, CISCE also publishes key statistics. These include the overall pass percentage, separate pass percentages for boys and girls, regional performance across the country, state-wise results, and data for categories such as OBC, SC, and ST. All this information is released along with the results today at 11 am in PDF format on the official website – cisce.org. However, the board does not release a toppers list.

Students should note that different classes have different minimum passing marks. To pass the ICSE (10th grade), a minimum of 33% is required, while the ISC (12th grade) requires a minimum of 35%. This difference exists because the 12th grade level is more difficult than the 10th grade.

This year, more than 400,000 students took these exams. To check their results, students will need to visit the official website – results.cisce.org. They will need to enter their unique UID and index number to view their results.

Once released, the CISCE Classes 10 and 12 results for 2026 will be available on the official websites: cisce.org and results.cisce.org.

To view their ISC and ICSE results online, students must enter their Unique ID and Index Number. These details are necessary to download the digital marksheet from both cisce.org and results.cisce.org. Any login-related issues must be reported to the respective school authorities immediately.

If past trends are any indication, girls may once again outperform boys in the ICSE board exams. In 2025, girls achieved a pass percentage of 99.37%, while boys recorded 98.84%. In 2024, the pass percentage for girls was 98.92%, compared to 97.53% for boys. A similar pattern was seen in 2023, with 98.01% of girls passing versus 95.96% of boys.

After downloading the mark sheet, students should carefully review the details mentioned in the ICSE Result 2026 and ISC Result 2026, as the same information will appear on the official mark sheet. Below is the list of essential details that will be included on the result card:

Over 2.5 lakh students across India took the ICSE and ISC exams in 2025. The ICSE examinations were held from February 21 to March 28, while the ISC examinations took place between February 12 and April 3.

— Visit the the DigiLocker portal at results.digilocker.gov.in.
— On the homepage, click on “Get Class 10th Result”.
— Enter your Index Number, Unique ID, and Date of Birth (as mentioned on the admit card).
— Click “Submit” and your ICSE Result 2026 will appear on the screen.

Sambhavi Jaiswal from Loyola School, Jamshedpur, topped the ICSE Class 10th exams in 2025 with a perfect score of 100%. Close behind were Prachi Sinha and Shaunak Gorai, each scoring 97.8%, while Ashraw Gupta and Kanav Chaudhary shared the third position with 97.6%.

Last year, the results were announced on May 1, 2025. Of the 99,551 students who took the ISC (Class 12) examinations, 98,578 passed, leading to an impressive overall pass percentage of 99.02%. Girls once again outperformed boys, with a pass rate of 99.45% compared to 98.64% for boys.

A similar pattern was observed in the ICSE (Class 10) results, where 99.37% of girls passed, surpassing the boys’ pass percentage of 98.84%. Yet again, girls have emerged as the top performers in both board examinations.

This ICSE and ISC re-evaluation facility is provided to students in addition to the standard recheck of answer scripts after the results are declared. The Statement of Marks / Pass Certificate issued to candidates who apply for Recheck / Re-evaluation will be treated as final. Students who do not obtain the minimum passing marks will have the opportunity to appear in the CISCE improvement examinations for up to two subjects.

To pass the ICSE and ISC exams, candidates must secure at least 33 per cent overall as well as in each subject.

Step 1: Go to CISCE’s official results portal: cisce.org.

Step 2: Enter the Course Code, Candidate UID, Index number, and Captcha as shown on the screen.

Step 3: Click on the ‘Show Result’ button to view the CISCE board ICSE/ ISC results 2026.

Step 4: Alternatively, choose the ‘Print Result’ option to obtain a printed copy of the online ISC or ICSE result.

Students will need their login credentials such as Unique ID and index number to access their ICSE, ISC scorecards online.

Once released, the CISCE Classes 10 and 12 results for 2026 will be available on the official websites: cisce.org and results.cisce.org.
