Students can access the marksheets on the official websites of the West Bengal Board — wbresults.nic.in and wbbse.wb.gov.in. They will need to enter their roll number and date of birth to log in to check the scores.

This year’s Madhyamik examination was conducted from February 2 to February 12, with about 9.5 lakh candidates appearing, according to the board. A total of 86.83% of students passed the exam. Abhirup Bhadra secured the state’s top rank in Class 10, scoring 99.71%. Kalimpong district recorded the highest pass percentage at 95.1%, followed by Medinipur with 94.82%. Kolkata registered a pass rate of 92.31%, while West Medinipur achieved 91.4%.

To pass the West Bengal Madhyamik Examination 2026, students must meet the criteria set by the board. They need to score at least 272 out of 800 marks overall. Additionally, a minimum of a ‘C’ grade in each subject is mandatory. Students must score at least 30 out of 90 in the theory exam and at least 3 out of 10 in the practical exam.

The results of the West Bengal Secondary Examination 2026 revaluation (PPR) copy revaluation will be declared by June 2026. Students who believe they have received lower marks than expected can apply for re-checking. Once the application process begins, students must complete the form within the given time and submit it to their school along with the prescribed fees. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

A large number of students have achieved outstanding results in the West Bengal Secondary Result 2026. A total of 131 students, including 100 boys, have secured positions in the board’s top 10 merit list. Additionally, over 1.46 per cent of the total candidates have scored between 90 and 100 per cent marks. Notably, the board has not withheld any student’s result this year, and all results have been declared.

In 2026, the Madhyamik pass rate was 86.83 per cent, while in 2025 it was 86.56 per cent. The pass rate is therefore slightly higher than in the previous year.

— Birbhum student Priyatosh Mukherjee came second with 696 marks.

— Three students shared third place with 695 marks: Mainak Mandal of Bankura, Ankan Kumar Jana of Purba Medinipur, and Saur Jana of Narendrapur Ramakrishna Mission.

Students who fail in 1 or 2 subjects in the West Bengal Madhyamik Result 2026 will be given a chance to appear for a compartment exam. This enables them to reappear and pass without losing a year. However, students who score poorly in 3 or more subjects will have to repeat the entire exam in the following year.

Kalimpong district recorded the highest pass percentage of 95.1 per cent in the West Bengal Madhyamik Result 2026, followed by Medinipur with 94.82 per cent. Kolkata registered a pass rate of 92.31 per cent, while West Medinipur achieved 91.4 per cent.

Abhirup Bhadra secured the first position in the West Bengal Madhyamik Result 2026 with a score of 99.71 per cent. Priyatosh Mukherjee achieved the second position with 99.43 per cent. Sourya Jana, Ankan Kumar Jana, and Mainak Mandal jointly secured the third position with 99.29 per cent marks. Arijit Kar obtained the fourth position with 99.14 per cent marks.

The West Bengal Board Secondary Examination (Class 10th) results have been announced. This year, 86.83% of students have passed, marking an improvement over last year’s results.

Students who secure at least grade C or above in each subject and overall will be declared pass. Those who fail to obtain the minimum marks in up to two subjects will be permitted to appear for compartmental exams. However, students who fail in three or more subjects will be required to repeat the year.

Kalimpong has secured the top place in the Madhyamik results, followed by Purba Medinipur. Kolkata has secured the third place.

A total of 971,340 students appeared for the secondary examination this year, including 426,733 boys and 544,606 girls, along with one transgender student. According to the board, 19 students were expelled from the exam after being caught cheating.

In the West Bengal Secondary Examination 2026, the total marks for core subjects are 700. To secure a place in the board’s merit list, students generally need to score between 680 and 690 or above. Along with the results, the board will also publish the names of the top-performing students at both district and state levels.

The WB 10th Madhyamik results are out. Students can check their West Bengal Secondary Examination 2026 results on several official websites. Students can access their results by entering their roll number and date of birth at wbbse.wb.gov.in, wbresults.nic.in, and result.wbbsedata.com.

Students can also access their scores through the SMS facility. To use this service, type WB followed by your roll number and send it to 5676750. For example, if a student’s roll number is 12345, they must type WB 12345 and send an SMS to 5676750. After the results are announced, they will receive a reply with the details of their marks.

If a student is dissatisfied with the marks obtained in the WB Madhyamik Result 2026, the WBBSE board provides an option for re-evaluation. The re-evaluation form will be made available online at wbresults.nic.in after the declaration of the result. Students can collect the form from their respective schools, fill it in, and submit it to the school authorities. A prescribed fee must be paid along with the form, and this has to be completed before the specified deadline. Further details will be announced soon.

The WB results will be declared online, allowing students to access their marksheets from home. The marksheet provides a detailed distribution of the marks obtained by a student. The print-out of the online result will serve as a provisional marksheet. Students must later collect the hard copy of their marksheets from their respective schools.

To pass the exams, WBBSE students must score at least 34 per cent. This means that, out of a total of 800 marks, candidates need a minimum of 272 marks. To obtain a first division, students must score 480 marks or more. All candidates who score 360 marks or above will be awarded a second division.

3. On the homepage, go to the ‘Education’ section and select WBBSE.
4. Select your class.
5. Enter your roll number, school code, and admit card ID. Click on ‘Get Document’.
6. Your marksheet will appear on the screen, and you can download it from there.

This year, around 9.5 lakh candidates appeared for the Madhyamik examination.

In 2025, the West Bengal Secondary Examination results were announced on May 2. This year, as the exams were held on slightly different dates, the board decided to publish the results on May 8, 2026.

The WB 10th online scorecard will display key details such as the student’s name, roll number, subject-wise marks, total marks, and pass/fail status. Students must carefully review their marksheets so they can immediately contact the board if any discrepancies are found.

Once the results are announced, students can access them on the official websites of the West Bengal Board. They will need to enter their roll number and date of birth to log in. The results will be available on wbresults.nic.in and wbbse.wb.gov.in.
