UP Board Class 12 Practical Exams 2026 To Be Held In Two Phases, Check Dates
UP Board Class 12 Practical Exams 2026: The Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh (UPMSP), has announced the schedule for Class 12 (Intermediate) practical examinations for 2026. As per the official notice, the exams will be conducted in two phases across different districts of the state.
Phase 1 Practical Exams
The first phase of the UP Board Class 12 practical exams will be held from January 24 to February 1, 2026. Districts covered in this phase include Agra, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Prayagraj, Devipatan and Basti.
The Board has clarified that January 29 and 30 will be holidays, as UP TET and other major examinations are scheduled on these dates. Secondary schools in these districts have been directed to remain closed on these two days.
Phase 2 Practical Exams
The second phase will be conducted from February 2 to February 9, 2026, in districts such as Aligarh, Meerut, Moradabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi and Gorakhpur.
Class 10 Practical Exams And Internal Assessment
As in previous years, Class 10 (High School) practical exams will be assessed internally at the school level through project work. School principals have been instructed to ensure that all eligible students appear for the practical assessment after proper verification.
Uploading Of marks
Marks for Class 10 practicals and Class 12 subjects including Moral Education, Yoga, Sports and Physical Education will be uploaded online by school principals on the official website upmsp.edu.in. The online portal for uploading marks will open on January 10, 2026.

Pre-Board Exams Schedule
Pre-board practical examinations for Class 12 will be organised at the school level in the first week of January 2026. Meanwhile, pre-board written examinations for both Class 10 and Class 12 will be held from the third week of January to February 9, 2026, as per the schedule set by individual schools.
CCTV Mandatory During Practical Exams

To ensure transparency and prevent malpractice, the Board has made it mandatory for principals to ensure the presence of CCTV cameras in practical exam halls. Video recordings of the exams will have to be uploaded to the Board's website.
