UP ‘Baccha Chor’ Video: Masked Man Tries To Pull 6-Year-Old In Broad Daylight, Father Fights Back: ‘Koi Dar Hi Nahi Hai’

A tense moment from Uttar Pradesh's Mathura has drawn attention where a six-year-old girl was almost kidnapped on a busy road in broad daylight when she was with her father. The incident, captured on CCTV, shows how the situation escalated and how narrowly the child escaped being pulled away.

According to a report in Amar Ujala, the incident took place near Maharaja Park Colony on Govardhan Road. The child's father, Chandra Prakash Aggarwal alias Aman, who runs a copper utensils business, was returning from his daughter's school on Tuesday afternoon, November 18, when two men on a bike stopped him. What followed left the father shocked and struggling to understand what was happening.

CCTV Footage Shows Kidnapping Attempt In Broad Daylight

CCTV footage shows two people arriving on a motorcycle. One of them is wearing a helmet and the other, who is driving, has covered his face with a mask. The masked man gets off the bike and moves to the centre of the road. He then signals Aman to stop his scooter.

As soon as the scooter slows down, the masked man reaches for the child and tries to pull her away. Aman reacts immediately by holding on to his daughter and questioning the man. The masked person reportedly threatened him and shouted that he would shoot if the father did not hand over the child.

Aman tries to push him away but the man grabs his left hand firmly. Even then, Aman does not stop the scooter. He accelerates in panic and as he moves forward, the masked man is seen dragged along the road for a few seconds.

As per the report, he immediately fell down and Aman headed straight towards his colony gate where he shouted for help. By the time the guard and nearby residents gathered, one of the men had escaped on the bike while the other ran away.

The viral video is said to be from Mathura, where an attempt was made to kidnap the girl from her father, in broad daylight."Don't leave your children alone.Be sure to teach them:

Kidnapping Attempt Leaves Many Disturbed

The video has triggered many responses on social platforms. People questioned the safety situation and expressed anger over the attempt.

One user commented, “Law & order is at an all-time low in this country."

Another person, tagging UP and Mathura Police, wrote, “Please take strong action against this kidnap act. Koi dar hi nahi hai apradhiyo ko (Criminals have no fear at all)."

Someone else remarked, “Kya ho raha hai desh me. Kisi chiz ka dar hi nahi raha (What is happening in this country? There is no fear of anything anymore)."

“Woah woah woah!!! OMG!!! What the hell is happening in this country? What's more worrying is that crime trends like this start in UP/Bihar & then spread across the country in no time like wildfire. Extremely worrying," a person said.

“What brazenness is this?? He just stopped someone in the middle of the road and attempted to kidnap. How unsafe," read another comment.

Police Statement On The Incident

After the video spread widely, Mathura Police took note. Officials later said that the incident was linked to a dispute between the child's parents.

As per the report quoting police, the child's mother lives separately in Rajasthan while the daughter stays with the father. Police also stated that Aman had not filed any formal complaint and that further inquiry is underway.
