I’ve seen over the last two years that his confidence level has been fantastic, and his belief that ‘I will come now as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.’ Not even 1% doubt was there with Vijay—that is his confidence level. I appreciate that attitude. First of all, for a leader, that boldness — to stand without an alliance — is admirable. So, it’s a good thing for Tamil Nadu and its people. I think it’s a historic success, a historic victory for Vijay," he said.

Chandrasekhar also shared his wife’s reaction to the developments, saying she was overwhelmed with happiness as the results unfolded. “I’m so happy," she said. He added, “She is not only his mother, she is the first fan of Vijay. Today, she is so happy."
The final results are still awaited, but early trends indicate that superstar Thalapathy Vijay could be on the verge of a historic political debut, drawing comparisons with iconic actor-politicians like M.G.
