Tesla has finally arrived in India, and currently, the Model Y is the only car available for buyers. Since deliveries began, new owners have been flaunting pictures and videos of their electric vehicles. One recent post from Hyderabad has caught special attention for a unique reason. Dr Praveen Koduru, a laparoscopic surgeon, received his brand new car and took the EV to a temple for a traditional Vahan Puja. He made a light-hearted comment about Indian traditions.
The car, believed to be the first Model Y to reach the city, was decorated with garlands, while the priest performed rituals like breaking a coconut and applying kumkum. Sharing the pictures online, the doctor humorously wrote that no car, including Elon Musk's vehicle, can get a “five-star safety rating in India unless it is blessed in this way."
