When Kapil Sharma questioned Shaan about any fan interaction where someone asked him to sing, the singer quickly shared that a fan recited a long poem for him but at the end, instead of saying his name, the fan called him Sonu Nigam and said, “Last mai bole ki ‘Aapke zabardast fan hai hum, koi aur nahi jaise aap ho Sonu Nigam' (At the end he said, ‘We are your biggest fan, there's no one like you Sonu Nigam.')."
As Shaan revealed this hilarious incident, everyone burst out in laughter. Shaan shared that he was very happy to hear praises from him but then was shocked not to hear his name.
In the episode, Kapil Sharma also talked about the Udit Narayan kiss controversy and said, “Shaan bhai aur Udit sir, dono haste-haste gaate hain, dono se milne fan stage par aate hain. Yeh baat alag hai ki Shaan bhai jaadu ki jhappi dete hain aur Udit ji toh jaadu ki kar dete hain (Shaan bhai and Udit sir both sing with a smile, and fans come on stage to meet both of them. The only difference is that Shaan bhai gives a magical hug, while Udit ji works his magic in a different way)."
