Ranveer Singh Personally Requests Sketch, Artist Delivers Stunning Result: ‘Hamza Ki Khwahish Poori Kar Di’
Dhurandhar is back in the spotlight after its release on Netflix and viewers are once again talking about its impact. When it hit theatres in December, the Ranveer Singh starrer went on to set new box office records. Ranveer's role as Indian spy Hamza Ali Mazari/ Jaskirat Singh Rangi, became one of the most discussed parts of the film. Since then, many fans and artists have shared their own creative work inspired by the movie. Among them, a sketch artist named Fine Kala got a special surprise.
Ranveer personally reached out to her and asked for a sketch based on his look from the film. A few days later, the artist completed the artwork and shared it on social media. The colourful sketch grabbed attention and left many amazed by the effort that went into making the artwork.
Sketch Artist Receives A Special Request From Ranveer Singh
In the video shared on Instagram, Fine Kala also included a screenshot of Ranveer Singh's comment, where the actor asked her, “Can you draw me from Dhurandhar?" The artist then showed the full process and captured every detail of Ranveer's character on paper with great accuracy.
While Ranveer Singh is yet to react, Jio Studio, who holds the streaming rights for Dhurandhar 2 replied, “Aapne toh humare HAMZA ki khwahish poori kar di."
Ranveer Singh's Hard Work On Dhurandhar
While Ranveer Singh has not spoken much about the hard work behind Dhurandhar, paparazzi photographer Varinder Chawla shared an interesting detail about the actor's mindset. At a roundtable hosted by Hindi Rush, Varinder said that during several promotional events, Ranveer often spoke about the effort and dedication he had put into the film.
Chawla said, “This is very recent about Dhurandhar. I remember that during its promotions, I met Ranveer Singh twice. Once when the trailer was launched and once during a song event. When the PR team introduced us, he said just one thing to me. He said, ‘I have worked very hard on this.' That was the only line he said. When we met again at the next event, because PR usually makes seniors meet others, he again said, ‘I am honestly telling you, I have worked very hard. I gained 15 kilos and then lost 15 kilos. I worked a lot on this. I swear I am not lying'."
“As soon as I came out after watching the film, I could clearly see how much effort so many people had put into it. Every single person had worked so hard. At that moment, I messaged Ranveer Singh and told him, ‘I really enjoyed it.' I still have that message. His reply was the same line again, ‘I have worked very hard.' Then I told him, ‘I just want to come and hug you.' When someone puts in that much effort, and keeps saying again and again that they worked very hard for something, and we sit here judging people because of old grudges or personal issues, it doesn't feel right," the photographer added.
Other than Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar also stars Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Gaurav Gera and Saumya Tandon.
