Punjab Board PSEB Class 5th, 8th Result 2026 Soon: Where And How To Check?
PSEB Class 5th, 8th Result 2026: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) will be announcing the Punjab Board Class 5th and 8th Result 2026 anytime soon. Students who appeared will be able to check their PSEB Results on the official PSEB website – pseb.ac.in.
Step 1: Visit the official PSEB website: pseb.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘Results’ tab.
Step 3: Click on the link for Punjab Board Class 5th Result 2026 or Punjab Board Class 8th Result 2026.
Step 4: Enter your roll number and date of birth in the required fields.
Step 5: Your result will appear on the screen.
Step 6: Download and print the result for future use.
For students who are unable to access the website or are facing heavy traffic, PSEB provides an SMS facility to quickly obtain results. Here’s how to check PSEB Class 5th and Class 8th results via SMS:
For Class 5th Result:
Type ‘PB05’ and send it to 5676750. The PSEB Class 5th Result will be sent to the registered mobile number.
For Class 8th Result:
Type ‘PB8’ and send it to 5676750. The PSEB Class 8th Result will be sent to the registered mobile number.
After the results are declared, students should carefully verify the information on their scorecards. The PSEB Class 5th and Class 8th scorecards will contain:
— Student’s full name
— Roll number
— School name
— Parent’s name
— Marks obtained in each subject
— Total score
A total of 2,90,471 students from 10,471 schools across the state appeared for the annual examination in 2025, out of which 2,82,627 students passed, recording a pass percentage of 97.30%, a slight decrease from 98.31% in 2024.
In case of PSEB Class 5th Result 2024, a total of 3,06,438 students appeared for the exam, achieving an impressive pass percentage of 99.8%. Among the successful candidates were 1,44,653 girls and 1,61,767 boys. While last year, a total of 300575 students appeared for the Punjab class 5 examination, out of which 299204 candidates passed. The overall pass percentage stood at 99.54 per cent. The pass percentage among boys was 99.48 per cent and among girls, it was 99.55 per cent.
