Prabhas Is Like A Five-Year-Old Baby, Says The Raja Saab Co-Star Niddhi Agerwal: 'Soft And Sweet'
In an industry obsessed with numbers, weekend collections and verdicts, stories of detachment are rare. But amid the underwhelming box office run of The Raja Saab, one such story has quietly stood out. According to his co-star, Prabhas remains untouched by hits, flops or online chatter. His focus, she says, is simple: show up and give his best. The comments come at a time when expectations around The Raja Saab were sky-high. After a strong opening, the film struggled to sustain momentum, drawing criticism and seeing sharp drops in collections. Yet, for Prabhas, the outcome seems to matter far less than the process.
“No games, no politics"
In a recent conversation on Ranveer Allahbadia's podcast, actor Nidhhi Agerwal opened up about what she values in her profession and what often disappoints her. While she said she enjoys acting and following her director's vision, she admitted that the judgment, power games and politics around films are not something she likes dealing with.
Praising her co-star, Nidhhi said, “Prabhas is also like this. No games, no politics, no fakeness. I always thought, will I ever make it big being this soft and sweet? But after I met him and worked with him, I realised he is even more childlike, genuine, soft and sweet. If he can be today India's biggest superstar, then maybe being like that is better." Her words quickly struck a chord with fans, many of whom have long described Prabhas as one of the most grounded stars despite his scale of fame.
Detached from hits and flops
Nidhhi went on to describe how the results of Prabhas' films do not seem to affect him emotionally. According to her, the actor's mindset remains the same whether a film succeeds or struggles.
She said, “Prabhas is very pure. He is a lovely human being. Once you meet him, you'll forget the fact that he's an actor or that he's been in the industry for the last 25 years. He's not a commercial guy. He doesn't have a PR team. He is very simple. Meeting him is like meeting a five-year-old baby. I have newfound respect for him after working with him. He's the nicest person I have met in my life. Prabhas is very detached from the results of his films. He does his job and gives his best."
The Raja Saab's box office collection
Directed by Maruthi, The Raja Saab is a fantasy horror comedy starring Prabhas along with Malvika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar and Sanjay Dutt. The film opened with Rs 62.9 crore in India and over Rs 112 crore worldwide on day one.
However, poor reviews affected its run soon after. Collections fell by more than 50 per cent on the second day. After 11 days, the film has crossed Rs 200 crore worldwide and is now facing competition from Chiranjeevi's Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu.
