Palash Muchhal and Smriti Mandhana's pre-wedding festivities have finally begin. Recently, the groom's sister, Palak, took to her Instagram handle and shared a few pictures of the Haldi ceremony that took place on November 21. In one picture, the singer looked emotional as she applied the wedding haldi on Palaash. Another photo featured Palak posing with her lyricist husband, Mithoon.

The love story of Indian cricket star Smriti Mandhana and Bollywood composer-filmmaker Palash Muchhal began in 2019 with a chance meeting that quietly grew into a deep and lasting bond. Despite their public personas, Smriti as a celebrated cricketer and Palash as a rising musical talent, they chose to keep their relationship private for nearly five years.

Their chemistry was evident in the way they supported each other's careers. Palash was among the loudest cheerleaders when India won the historic ICC Women's ODI World Cup against South Africa on November 2, 2025, at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. The couple is now set to tie the knot on November 23 in Smriti's hometown of Sangli, Maharashtra.

Palash Muchhal is an Indian music composer, songwriter and filmmaker known for his work in Bollywood and the independent music space. Born on 22 May 1995 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, he is the younger brother of acclaimed playback singer Palak Muchhal.

Palash gained recognition as one of the youngest music composers to work in mainstream Hindi cinema. Over the years, he has composed and produced music for films, television projects, and numerous independent singles released on major Indian music platforms. He has directed over 40 music videos for major labels such as T-Series and Zee Music Company, and has also acted in Ashutosh Gowariker's Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey. He is currently directing the film Ardh, starring Rajpal Yadav and Rubina Dilaik.
