"When we took office in 2005, being called a Bihari was considered an insult. Since then, we've worked with honesty and dedication. Today, it's an honour," Kumar said. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday released a video message urging people to once again support the NDA, saying the state's transformation over the past two decades has turned "being a Bihari" into a matter of pride.
In the video, shared by the JDU and Kumar's official social media handles, he said Bihar's progress under his leadership had benefited all communities - "Hindus, Muslims, upper castes, backward castes, extremely backward castes, Dalits, and Mahadalits."
