Muhurat Trading 2025 Stock Picks: The benchmark Nifty 50 has gained nearly 3% so far in October, signalling a revival in investors' risk appetite amid expectations of an earnings recovery from the current quarter (Q3FY26). The optimism is driven by the recent GST rate cuts, favourable growth-inflation dynamics, and festive demand.

There is also growing anticipation that foreign institutional investors (FIIs) may return to Indian equities following the US's decision to impose a 100% tariff on Chinese imports.

Experts believe Indian equities could deliver healthy returns in Samvat 2082, particularly if an India–US trade deal is finalised. Both countries are currently negotiating, with signs suggesting a potential agreement by November.

Given these tailwinds, analysts say this is an opportune time for long-term investors to accumulate high-quality stocks.

Every year, investors participate in ‘Muhurat Trading' on Diwali, considered an auspicious time to begin new investments. This year, the special session will be held on Tuesday, October 21, from 1:45 pm to 2:45 pm.

Ahead of the session, PL Capital (Prabhudas Lilladher) has released its eight Muhurat picks for Diwali 2025, including Swiggy, Anant Raj, TVS Motor, and HBL Engineering, with upside potential ranging from 28% to 58%.

Prev Close: Rs 694.20 | Targets: Rs 940, Rs 1,100 | Stop Loss: Rs 645 | Upside: 58%

PL Capital noted a surge in Anant Raj's stock, supported by strong volumes and sustained positive bias despite consolidation. The RSI has strengthened, indicating further upside. “With the chart technically strong, we suggest buying for targets of Rs 940 and Rs 1,100, keeping stop loss at Rs 645," the brokerage said.

After a brief correction, HBL Engineering found support near Rs 825, forming a positive setup within a rising channel. RSI cooling from the overbought zone suggests a bullish reversal. “Buy for targets of Rs 1,100 and Rs 1,250 with stop loss at Rs 780," said PL Capital.

The stock has rebounded from its 50-day EMA near Rs 92 and formed a flag pattern, hinting at further gains. RSI has cooled off, indicating fresh upside potential. “Buy for targets of Rs 150 and Rs 165, keeping stop loss at Rs 106," said the brokerage.

Swiggy's stock has maintained an ascending channel for four months, stabilising near its 50EMA at Rs 418. RSI shows signs of a positive reversal. “Buy for upside targets of Rs 530 and Rs 580 with stop loss at Rs 370," PL Capital advised.

The stock has formed a double-bottom pattern near Rs 1,390, signalling a bullish reversal. RSI indicates renewed momentum. “Buy for targets of Rs 1,770 and Rs 1,900, with stop loss at Rs 1,270," the firm said.

After breaking above its 100- and 200-day SMAs near ₹800, V-Mart has formed a flag pattern suggesting further gains. RSI remains strong. “Buy for upside targets of Rs 1,030 and Rs 1,130, keeping stop loss at Rs 730," said PL Capital.

TVS Motor continues its multi-year uptrend, with recent consolidation giving way to renewed strength. RSI indicates room for further gains. “Buy and accumulate for targets of Rs 4,100 and Rs 4,550, keeping stop loss at Rs 3,100," PL Capital recommended.

The stock has rallied sharply from Rs 245, maintaining a solid uptrend with increasing volumes. RSI remains firm.“Buy and accumulate for targets of Rs 405 and Rs 440, keeping stop loss at Rs 300," said the brokerage.
