Man Ties Firecrackers To Body For Diwali Stunt Show: ‘Ye Roti Ke Liye Hai, Reel Ke Liye Nahi’ | Video

A young man's attempt to stand out during Diwali took a dangerous turn. Instead of celebrating normally, he decided to tie fireworks to his own body, thinking it would make him look daring. He tied his hands above his head and strapped nearly a long cracker to his legs. When he lit them, the fireworks exploded one by one, causing minor injuries that could have led to much worse. The video quickly caught the attention of social media users, who criticised the stunt by calling it extremely risky.

Many pointed out that if even a small mistake had happened, the consequences could have been serious. People even bashed the young man for attempting this dangerous act to simply gain attention on social media.

Dangerous Diwali Stunt Goes Viral

The video posted on Instagram came with the caption, “The craze for making reels among youngsters has grown so much that they are now ready to go to any extreme, moving trains, tall buildings, speeding cars, all for that one perfect reel. Has the race for fame really become more important than life itself?"

Social Media Criticises Risky Behaviour

Reacting to the post, a user wrote, “Is he dead or alive?"

Another shared, “Never try to become a daredevil like this."

“Ye roti ke liye ho raha hai, reel ke liye nahi. (He's doing this for a bread, not for a reel)," a comment read.

An individual stated, “Try to understand his situation; he entertains all of you just to earn a little money."

One more added, “This isn't a reel, it's for a circus. They do all this just to earn some money, just give them Rs 1000 or Rs 2000 and tell them not to do it."

Diwali Turns Tragic In Madhya Pradesh

Diwali is a time for celebration, but in Madhya Pradesh, the festival turned tragic after several children suffered serious eye injuries caused by locally made carbide guns. These dangerous devices have led to multiple accidents and hospitalisations across the state. As reported by India Today, in the past few days, the majority of the children have been admitted to hospitals with serious eye injuries and 14 have already lost their vision. The worst hit area is the Vidisha district, where local shops were openly selling these guns despite a government ban.

Dr Kavita Kumar explained that the carbide gun is very dangerous because it creates a fireball that burns the skin and eyes. This is the main reason many people are losing their vision. Dr Aditi Dubey from a hospital in Bhopal added that both children and young adults, between the ages of 7 and 35, have been affected by these injuries.
