Recently, in a new Instagram video shared on November 11, Malaika revealed the secret behind her strong, sculpted arms and enviable core. The fitness star demonstrated five simple yet effective dumbbell exercises that you can easily do at home, no fancy gym required. Each move targets your upper body and engages your core, helping you build strength, improve posture, and tone your arms in minutes.

“Did you know? These 5 dumbbell moves can tone your arms and fire up your core in minutes," Malaika captioned her video.
Here's a breakdown of the five powerful exercises she performed:
1. Lateral Side Raise
Start by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand.
Keep a slight bend in your knees and hinge forward slightly at the hips. Now, lift both dumbbells out to the sides until they're parallel to the floor, squeezing your shoulder blades together at the top.
Lower them slowly with control. This move helps strengthen the shoulders, upper back, and core.
2. Standing Shoulder Press
Stand tall with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold a dumbbell in each hand at shoulder level, palms facing forward.
Engage your core and press both dumbbells overhead until your arms are fully extended.
Pause briefly, then lower the weights slowly to the starting position. This classic move works your shoulders, arms, and upper chest, improving stability and upper-body strength.
3. Bicep Curls
Hold a dumbbell in each hand with your arms extended by your sides and palms facing forward.
Keeping your elbows close to your body, curl the weights upward by bending only at the elbows.
Squeeze your biceps at the top, then lower the weights slowly.
This isolation move effectively targets and tones the biceps, enhancing arm definition.
4. Kettlebell Swing
Stand with your feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart, maintaining a soft bend in your knees.
