Kartik Aaryan Says 'Hearts Are Full' As Fans Shower Love On Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri
Kartik Aaryan is soaking in the love coming his way as fans shower praise on his latest film, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. The actor recently took to social media to express his gratitude, writing, “hearts are full". The film, released on December 25, also stars Ananya Panday in the lead role.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Kartik Aaryan shared a photo featuring him and Ananya Panday. He wrote, “This holiday season, our hearts are fully booked, all thanks to you! In Cinemas Now." Despite facing stiff competition from Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar and James Cameron's Avatar: Fire and Ash, the movie earned a solid opening and is expected to gain momentum over the weekend. According to the latest update on Sacnilk, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri collected Rs 7.25 crore on its first day.

Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri Box Office: Kartik Aaryan's Film Collects Rs 7 Crore On Day 1
The film saw an overall footfall of 34.56% on day one. Evening shows recorded the highest attendance at 41.36%, followed closely by night shows at 40.23%. Afternoon shows had a turnout of 38.48%, while morning shows saw the lowest footfall at 18.18%.
The opening day collections of Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri are notably lower compared to Kartik Aaryan's earlier films. His 2022 Diwali release, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, opened to Rs 14.11 crore, while Love Aaj Kal 2 earned Rs 12.4 crore on its first day. Meanwhile, SatyaPrem Ki Katha, also directed by Sameer Vidwans, collected Rs 9.25 crore on its opening day.
Kartik Aaryan Dances To Saajanji Ghar Aaye In Tu Meri Main Tera
Another clip from the film, directed by Sameer Vidwans, has surfaced online, sparking fresh chatter, and once again, audiences are far from impressed. In the clip from the film, which hit the theatres on December 25, the lead duo, Kartik and Ananya, were seen dancing to Saajanji Ghar Aaye, the song originally picturised on Salman Khan and Kajol in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The video showed the actor making his entry at a celebratory occasion, dressed in a black sequinned outfit, with the song playing in the background.
He shook his leg with a few background dancers before Ananya entered the scene and joined him on the dance floor. The duo was seen grooving to the classic track together. Despite their attempt to keep things similar to the original version, Kartik and Ananya's version did not quite impress the audience and left them divided. People began comparing the new version with the original and shared that the rendition lacked the effortless charm and screen presence that Salman brought.
Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri: Plot And Cast
Tu Meri Main Tera is produced by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions, along with Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Bhumika Tewari, and Namah Pictures' Shareen Mantri Kedia and Kishor Arora. The film is directed by Sameer Vidwans, who previously helmed Satyaprem Ki Katha (2023). It is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on Christmas 2025.
This marks Kartik Aaryan's first collaboration with Dharma Productions and his second project with Namah Pictures and director Sameer Vidwans after Satyaprem Ki Katha. On December 15, the makers submitted a reworked version of the film to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). As per reports, the film's certified runtime stands at 145 minutes and 41 seconds, or 2 hours, 25 minutes, and 41 seconds.
The story revolves around two central characters who meet while on vacation and end up staying at the same place. What begins as a friendship gradually blossoms into love, before taking an emotional turn. Alongside lead actors Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday, the film also features Neena Gupta, Jackie Shroff, and Tiku Talsania in supporting roles.
