Kalyan Silks Chairman Buys Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica Days After Getting A Rs 2.5-Crore Range Rover

Kerala businessman and Kalyan Silks chairman T.S. Pattabhiraman has stunned car enthusiasts once again, this time by adding a Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica to her already impressive luxury car collection.

Just a week after buying a Rs 2.5 crore Range Rover Autobiography LWB, Pattabhiraman celebrated Diwali in grand style with the delivery of a Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica LP640-2. The sleek black supercar, worth over Rs 4 crore (ex-showroom), was recently captured in a video that has been widely shared on social media.

A Grand Diwali Delivery

The video opens with the Huracan being carefully unloaded from a covered flatbed. Finished in Nero Noctis black with yellow accents, the car's bold design instantly stands out. The footage captures close-up details, from the sharp bodywork and dual exhausts to the large, fixed rear spoiler that adds to its sporty look.

Moments later, the scene shifts to Pattabhiraman's home in Thrissur, Kerala, where his family gathers around the car draped under a cover. Together, they unveil the Lamborghini, revealing its stunning design. The businessman then receives the keys and proudly takes his new supercar for a short drive.

What Makes The Huracan Tecnica Special

Introduced in India in 2022, the Huracan Tecnica sits between the Huracan EVO and Huracan STO in Lamborghini's lineup. It blends the STO's powerful performance with the comfort and road-readiness of the EVO.

Competing against the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, McLaren 720S and Ferrari F8 Tributo, the Tecnica stands out for its mix of design, speed and precision engineering.

The car draws styling inspiration from the Lamborghini Sian, featuring sharp lines, “Y" shaped details, and a sculpted front splitter. It also gets a carbon-fibre bonnet, revised rear diffuser, and a fixed spoiler that increases downforce by 35 per cent. The extended body length and improved aerodynamics give it a striking and aggressive stance.

Power And Performance

The Tecnica runs on a powerful 5.2-litre V10 engine, the same one used in the Huracan STO. Producing 640 hp and 565 Nm of torque, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of 325 km/h.

The supercar features rear-wheel drive, a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, and ceramic brakes as standard. It also comes loaded with Lamborghini's advanced LDVI (Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata) system, which controls traction, torque vectoring and rear-wheel steering.

Drivers can choose between three modes: Strada, Sport, and Corsa, to suit their mood or the road.
