Infosys Share Price Up 3% Upon Partnership With AI Firm Anthropic
Infosys Share Price: Infosys shares rose 3 per cent intraday on Tuesday following the announcement on partnership with US-based AI firm Anthropic to develop and deliver advanced enterprise AI solutions to companies across telecommunications, financial services, manufacturing and software development.
“The collaboration will begin in telecommunications with a dedicated Anthropic Center of Excellence to build and deploy AI agents tailored to industry-specific operations. The collaboration will further expand across industries, including financial services, manufacturing, and software development," the company said in the filing.
Infosys will also host Investor Indian IT firm is set to outline the roadmap for AI-driven growth amid widespread industry-level disruption. CEO Salil Parekh will outline the firm’s strategy for balancing the risks and opportunities arising from AI adoption.
Shares of Infosys traded at Rs 1,405 per share with a jump of 3 per cent around 10:25 Am, against the previous day’s close at Rs 1,365 per share.
Infosys’ investor day comes at a time when the outlook for the IT sector is at the bottom among investors over the AI-led disruption. This has led to panic selling at an unprecedented pace, plunging major IT stocks to record lows.
Infosys, in the filing, confirmed that it will hold an investor AI day in Bengaluru on February 17, 2026. The proceedings of the event will be webcast live on the Company’s website at https://www.infosys.com/. The presentations made at the event and transcripts of discussions will also be hosted on the Company’s website subsequently.
Shares of Infosys snapped over 8 per cent in the last five sessions, dropping to near the 52-week low at Rs 1,370 per share.
