Gurugram Man, Craving ‘Matar Paneer’ In Winters, Calls ‘Snabbit Didi’ To Help Him Peel Peas: ‘Mummy Bhi Khush Aur…’

Every North Indian household loves matar (peas), especially during winters. While everyone enjoys the fresh winter produce, peeling large piles of matar can be exhausting. However, a man from Gurugram has discovered a clever and somewhat crazy hack to make the task easier.

Recorded by himself, the man shows how he and his mother relaxed while someone else helped peel the matar. They used Snabbit, a quick-help app, to get assistance with the most relatable winter chore.

Gurugram Man Books Quick-Help App To “Peel Matar"

The clip started with the man expressing his wish to have “matar paratha", “aloo matar", and “matar paneer" this winter. “Par yeh matar chhile kaun?" he asked before revealing his “crazy hack".

The camera then panned to show three Snabbit helpers quietly peeling mountains of green peas in the background. “Humne bula liya hai Snabbit didi…ab yeh chhilenge humare liye matar. Hum khayenge matar paneer. Mummy bhi khush, main bhi khush." The funniest moment came when he caught his sister sitting with them, lending a hand.

The absurdity of using a quick-help app to book helpers for a speedy matar-peeling session has fueled the app's growing trend, with people turning to it for the strangest, most bizarre, and hyper-specific tasks.

‘This Is A Peak NCR Behaviour'

Users across social media instantly related to the video. “This is peak NCR behaviour," one user noted. “This can happen only in Gurgaon," another added. “My mom would faint with joy," a user exclaimed.

Someone else went a step ahead and asked, “Snabbit, do you also do gobhi cleaning?" One comment read, “Men would do anything but household chores."

“If culture had a winter mascot, this would be it," wrote a user hilariously.

“Aisa hack toh hum bhi deserve karte hai," said another.

Someone else stated, “Gurgaon really finds a hack for EVERYTHING."

Another jokingly noted, “Brother has officially entered his ‘work smart, not hard' era."

“Imagine telling your dad this is how we peel matar now," one user added.

Many users admitted feeling a sudden wave of FOMO, as the nostalgia of families gathering in winters, gossiping while peeling matar, is truly a cherished North Indian tradition.
