Full List Of Names In Epstein Files As It Awaits Donald Trump's Approval

Disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein has become the centre of a political storm in the United States, as the US Congress agreed to order the Justice Department to release its files related to the sex offender.

While the Senate had already said it would pass the bill even before it officially received it, the House of Representatives have okayed it in a 427-1 vote. US President Donald Trump had earlier cast the files as a distraction, but reversed his stance by urging the Congress to release the Epstein files amid strong public pressure from his supporters.

The measure, called “The Epstein Files Transparency Act", would compel US Attorney General Pam Bondi to make available all “unclassified records, documents, communications and investigative materials" in the Department of Justice's possession related to Epstein.

However, even if the measure passes through the House and Senate and is ultimately signed into law by Trump, it's unlikely the Justice Department would release the entire Epstein file, according to ABC News. Any materials related to ongoing investigations or White House claims of executive privilege will likely remain out of public view.

Several high-profile names are in the Epstein files, including Donald Trump, former US President Bill Clinton, deceased pop star Michael Jackson and former British Prince Andrew. Earlier this month, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released emails from Jeffrey Epstein's estate that refer to Donald Trump, one of which alleged that Trump “spent hours" at Epstein's house with a victim.
