The student's family discovered a note she had left behind after returning to their hometown in Madhya Pradesh. In the note, the girl wrote: "I had high hopes of scoring good marks in the NEET exam, but now there is no guarantee that I will perform just as well if I have to take the paper again. I'm sorry, Mom and Dad. I've ruined everything." The family returned to their village in Mauganj district for her last rites and later found the note in one of her books. Taking to X, Rahul blamed the Centre for the aspirant's death and said it was a consequence of a corrupt and broken system being run under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He added that despite repeated exam leaks and the resulting chaos, the education minister continues to remain in office. "...And Dharmendra Pradhan ji? He's still in his chair today. Without naming Prime Minister Narendra Modi or Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday said students who lost their lives amid repeated exam cancellations and paper leak controversies deserved justice, which could only be ensured by dismantling the “shiksha mafia” operating in the country.
