The IMD has issued a yellow alert for fog in the national capital for Friday amid the cold weather conditions. In Noida and Gurugram, one can expect fog or mist during early morning hours. Air India in an advisory said that reduced fog in Delhi may impact flight schedules across the network.
Delhi continues to reel under cold day conditions on Friday and the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issuing a yellow alert for dense fog for January 9, Friday. Parts of Delhi witnessed early morning rain on Friday, adding to the bitter cold as the national capital continues to face an intense cold spell with nighttime temperatures dipping to around 5 degrees Celsius.
