‘Crazy Hack’ To Book Cabs: Now You Can Link OLA, Uber, Rapido Accounts And Compare Price — How It Works
How often have you booked an expensive cab just to avoid the crowded metro? This online transport service is certainly convenient at times, especially if you prefer comfort and privacy. But it doesn't erase the fact that taking a cab ride comes with a price, quite literally. Fares can skyrocket during rush hours or weather disturbances and sometimes drivers can demand extra, adding to the frustration.
But what if there was an app that helped you book the cheapest cab by comparing all the online portals? If this sounds unbelievable, then you're mistaken. An X-user recently dropped a post on the micro-blogging platform, sharing the details of a similar application called Buyhatke. Here's how it works:
Cab Booking Got Easy And Cheap?
First, link your OLA, Uber and Rapido accounts on the application.
Next, enter the pickup and drop-off locations.
After that, you will see the platform checking every online ride-hailing application to compare the price and ETA.
Once you select your preference, it will automatically book a ride.
The perks extend to the “smart pickup" feature.
It'll inform you whether the cab price can drop if you walk a little distance from the original pickup spot.

Internet Left Divided By App
“This is actually genius, comparing prices across all platforms before booking. Most people stick to one app out of habit and end up overpaying every time," approved a user. “This might actually fix 90% of the frustration with cab apps," agreed another. “Is the app free or paid?" asked one person. “I've been using the extension on my laptop since its beta testing. Pretty good," noted someone else.
“What looks like a ‘crazy hack' is really a temporary loophole that closes the moment it gets traction. Ride platforms spend billions on subsidies to keep acquisition costs low. An aggregator piggybacking on top destroys the cac math, so platforms will always fight it. Always," commented a critic. Someone added, “Nothing works in Bengaluru."

“It'll not work. The reason is that almost all the drivers are registered on all these apps and they only accept the request from the app that pays them more. That's why it's difficult to get a cab these days," pointed out an individual.
