IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) allows students to access their results through a phone call. Here’s how you can use it:
If you are in Delhi, dial 24300699
If you are in other parts of the country, dial 011-24300699

You will be able to hear your subject-wise marks over the call
The CBSE has introduced a two-phase board examination system for Class 10 students for the 2026 academic session, offering students greater flexibility and an extra opportunity to enhance their performance. While the official timetable is yet to be released, Phase 2 exams will be conducted from May 15, 2026, after the Phase 1 board exam results are declared.
From 2026, class 10 students will have two chances to appear for board examinations. The first exam will be held between February and March, and the second, in May, will be optional for those who wish to improve their scores. The better of the two scores will be treated as the final result. However, students absent in three or more subjects in the first exam will not be allowed to sit for the second. Those who fail any subject in the first exam can use the second as a compartment chance. With this new schedule, first-phase results are expected by April, speeding up class 11 admissions.
The institution wise pass performance in 2025 class 10 results are:
JNV – 99.49%
KV – 99.45%
Independent – 94.17%
STSS – 91.53%
Government – 89.26%
Government Aided – 83.94%
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to open the Class 10 rechecking and revaluation window shortly after announcing the 2026 board results. Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply online through a structured, multi-step process within a limited time frame. The process is expected to begin in May–June 2026, soon after the results are declared. Students should note that each stage has a short application window, generally within 15–20 days of the result declaration.
CBSE is also moving towards digital evaluation. Class 12 answer sheets are already being checked using on-screen marking, which reduces human error and speeds up results. Over time, this digital system may be extended further, making evaluation more efficient and transparent.
APAAR ID, a digital identity, is now mandatory for all students from classes 9 to 12. Under the “One Nation, One Student ID” initiative, the government has directed schools to ensure via the UDISE+ portal that students have this ID before registration (classes 9 and 11) and before the release of candidates’ lists (classes 10 and 12). This system improves record accuracy, minimises duplication, and enhances the use of educational platforms like DigiLocker and ABC, in line with NEP 2020 and the Digital India vision.
This year, the Board conducted the Class 10 examinations from February 17 to March 11, 2026. The exams were held in a single shift on all days, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.
CBSE will hold the Class 10 board exams twice this year. The second exam is scheduled for May. Therefore, the board aims to release the first set of results as early as possible in April. The second CBSE Class 10 board exam will be conducted between May 15 and June 1, 2026.
Steps to check results via IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System):
— If you are a local subscriber in Delhi, dial 24300699.
— Subscribers in other parts of the country should dial 011-24300699.
Then follow the voice instructions to enter your roll number, date of birth, and school number to listen to your subject-wise marks.
Students will also be given grades along with marks. CBSE uses a 9-point grading scale (A1 to E) based on the marks obtained by each student. A1 is the highest possible grade, while grade E is given to students who do not pass the exam. The top 1/8th of the successful candidates receive Grade A1, and the next 1/8th are awarded Grade A2. Grades B1 and B2 are then assigned to the following 1/8th segments of passed candidates. In the same way, grades C1, C2, D1, and D2 are given to the subsequent 1/8th groups of students who pass. Grade E is assigned to those who fail the examination.
