‘Beti Ki Shaadi Hai Aage’: Man Demands Death Penalty For Son After He Kills Mother Over Wi-Fi
A shocking case from Kardhani, Jaipur, has left people across the country horrified. Police have arrested a man named Naveen Singh after a disturbing video surfaced showing him brutally beating his own mother to death inside their home. The incident took place on Monday and has shaken social media users.
According to police, the victim, Santosh, was attacked in the kitchen of their home in Arun Vihar. Naveen's father, Laxman Singh, a Delhi Police constable and former Army personnel, along with his daughters, tried to stop the assault but were unable to control him.

The Brutal Assault
The video, reportedly recorded by a family member, shows Naveen raining punches on his mother. In a heart-wrenching scene, the man continued even after she lost consciousness and collapsed. He did not stop there and later strangled her, striking her head with a stick. Despite the family's desperate attempts to intervene, the attack did not stop.
Locals, alarmed by the chaos, alerted police. Officers arrived quickly and detained Naveen. Santosh, found unconscious and bleeding, was rushed to a hospital but succumbed during treatment. Investigators believe a head injury was the main cause of death, though the postmortem report is awaited.
Police revealed that the son was highly addicted to alcohol and often fought with his mother. On Monday, tensions escalated when the mother disconnected the Wi-Fi and scolded him after the LPG cylinder ran out. The confrontation triggered Naveen and enraged, he decided to hit his mother, ultimately taking her life.
Father's Demand For the Death Penalty
Now, the father has demanded the death penalty for him. In a statement, he said, “My son should be hanged. He not only ruined himself but destroyed us. He took the life of the mother who gave birth to him. We tried to intervene but that monster was overcome with bloodlust. He strangled and hit my wife's head with a stick, leaving her bloodied. She died during treatment."
Police also confirmed Naveen was married in 2020, but his wife had left him due to domestic conflicts.
