‘Best Time To Wed’, Pouring Punches, Neta’s 55-Cylinder Hoard: WATCH India’s LPG Fury Unleashing
As LPG prices rise and supply concerns grow across parts of the country, the situation is increasingly spilling onto social media. Videos, reactions and ground reports shared online show how people are responding to the ongoing cooking gas crunch. From long queues outside agencies to unusual refill attempts and heated arguments, the Internet is packed with a lot of drama surrounding the situation.
The price hike came after oil and natural gas companies increased the cost of LPG cylinders due to supply disruptions linked to tensions in the Middle East. The issue even reached Parliament, where opposition parties raised slogans against the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party over the rising prices.
Amid the situation, people have shared their reactions online with some even dropping videos of the incidents caused by the ongoing crisis in the country.
One user posted a creative take on the situation, suggesting that people could turn the shortage into a money-saving opportunity. The user wrote, “If you are planning to get married then this is the best time. Invite 25 ppl & tell everyone that no caterers are taking food orders due to LPG shortage. Save money & go on an international trip later. Make the best use of this situation."

Another user raised suspicions about a sudden spike in demand for alternative cooking options, particularly induction cooktops. The user questioned whether the apparent shortage of such appliances online was genuine. They wrote, “The out-of-stock situation for induction cooktops looks completely manufactured. I bought one for a relative a couple of days ago and everything was in stock. Suddenly, a couple of hours later, almost every single entry was out of stock. I believe sellers are going to milk this by manufacturing a false narrative.."
