Bank Holiday Next Week: Bank customers planning to visit banks next week should check the bank closure list between June 22 and June 28, 2026, as per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday calendar, as banks are scheduled to remain closed for four consecutive days in certain cities.
Bank Holiday Next Week: As the third week of June 2026 draws near its conclusion, Indian banking customers will have to keep an eye out for any bank closings at the branches around their location so that they may prepare themselves for their bank visits since banks will be closed for four straight days in select cities.
Below is the full list of bank closures next week, as per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday list.

While there will be no issues with banking transactions in the coming week, no transaction facilities will be available at banks like SBI, HDFC, and ICICI, among others, in certain places due to the observance of regional festivals and the fourth Saturday off.
June 25 (Thursday): The following week, Moharrum will lead to a bank holiday in Vijayawada on June 25.
June 26 (Friday): A wider set of states will observe the Muharram (Ashoora/Yaom-e-Shahadat) holiday on June 26, resulting in bank closures in major cities, including Agartala, Aizawl, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, and Srinagar.
June 27 (Saturday): Mandatory fourth Saturday holiday across all bank branches
June 28 (Sunday): Weekly holiday

From June 22 (Monday) to June 24 (Wednesday), banks are likely to remain open and function as usual on weekdays all over India, with only certain cities to witness consecutive closures in the rest of the week, including weekly bank closures.

Transaction Processing: Digital transactions reach completion in less than one minute or within thirty minutes in most situations. When a user performs a payment through mobile banking or internet banking, the transaction will process without any delays during holidays.
Branch Limitations: Physical bank branches have restrictions, while digital channels enable users to access all services without interruptions. Bank branches will not process RTGS transactions that customers initiate at the branch during holidays or during the second and fourth Saturdays when the branch remains closed. The bank only processes transactions that customers submit through its online digital platforms during these specific times.
