Amazon confirms Prime Day 2026 in India: July event to bring offers on electronics, fashion, and more
Amazon has announced that its Prime Day sale will return to India in July 2026. The company said the annual event will include deals, new launches, and savings across categories such as electronics, kitchen products, fashion, beauty, groceries, and daily essentials. This year marks the tenth edition of Prime Day in the country.
When the sale will take place
Amazon has not disclosed the exact dates for India yet but confirmed that the event will be held in July 2026. In comparison, Prime Day will be conducted in June across several global markets, including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, and the United Arab Emirates. Countries such as India, Japan, Brazil, and Australia will host the sale a month later.
Deals and categories to watch
During the sale, Prime members are expected to get access to discounts on a wide range of products. These include smartphones, laptops, home appliances, fashion items, beauty products, and grocery essentials. Amazon also indicated that new product launches and limited-time deals will be part of the event.
The platform typically introduces time-bound offers and category-specific promotions, allowing users to combine discounts with payment offers.
Prime membership benefits
Amazon highlighted several benefits available to Prime members in India. These include same-day and next-day delivery on a large number of products, along with 4-hour delivery on select items. In some cities, customers can also access faster deliveries through Amazon’s quick commerce service.
Members can avail additional offers such as free delivery on eligible orders and cashback benefits. Users paying with the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card receive 5 percent cashback on purchases.

According to Amazon, over 55 crore products were delivered the same or next day to Prime members in India in 2025, marking a 40 percent increase compared to the previous year. The company also stated that members saved more than twice the cost of their annual subscription through deals and benefits.
Membership plans
Amazon offers multiple Prime plans in India. The standard annual membership is priced at Rs 1,499 and includes shopping and entertainment benefits. Prime Lite costs Rs 799 and offers limited streaming access, while the Prime Shopping Edition at Rs 399 focuses on delivery-related benefits.

Prime Day 2026 will bring a mix of discounts, new launches, and member-only offers. Shoppers planning purchases may benefit from combined savings through price cuts, cashback offers, and faster delivery options.
