AISSEE 2026 Registration Deadline Extended Till November 9, Check Exam Schedule

The registration deadline for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination or AISSEE 2026 has been extended till November 9, 2025. According to the official notice, registration process which was scheduled to end on October 30, 2025 has now been extended. The last date for fee submission is November 10.

The application correction window which was slated to be open from November 2 to 4, will now be accessible from November 12 to 14. The exam will be conducted on January 18.

“The National Testing Agency (NTA) is in receipt of various representations from the candidates to extend the last date of submission of online application form for All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE)-2026. Therefore, in continuation to the Public Notice dated the 10.10.2025 regarding submission of online application form for admission to Class VI and Class IX in Sainik Schools/New Sainik Schools across the country, for the academic year 2026-27, NTA has decided to extend the last date for submission of online application form for AISSEE," reads the official notice.

General category — Rs 850

ST and SC category — Rs 700

Step 1 – To apply for AISSEE 2026, candidates and their parents must fill out the registration form available on the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE.

Step 2 – Enter the required details, including your name, date of birth, home address, contact information, and a valid email address.

Step 3 – Select the class you wish to take admission for – either class 6 or class 9.

Step 4 – Scan and upload the necessary documents (including photograph and signature) to complete the application form.

Step 5 – Pay the applicable fee using the provided online payment options, confirm your application, then submit and download.

The Sainik School Society has also announced the addition of three new schools for the AISSEE 2026. This include the Srri SPK Public Senior Secondary School, Tamil Nadu; Vadem Nagar Higher Secondary School, Goa; and Yogeshwari Sainik School, Ambajogai, Maharashtra.
