You Know The Frog That Has The Tea?' Carlos Sainz's Hilarious Reaction To Ferrari's 'Talk Less-Gate
Williams driver Carlos Sainz replied in trademark fashion when quizzed about his opinion of Ferrari's ‘Talk Less-gate' after John Elkann's comments calling for the Prancing Horse drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton to ‘Focus more and talk less' as the Italia outfit remain in search of their first win this season.
Ferrari opted to give Sainz's seat to Hamilton ahead of the ongoing season in a massive switch which hasn't really paid off yet. Sainz, who made the move to Williams has done well with the side event finishing P3 in the Las Vegas qualifications, as Hamilton finished at the very bottom of the pile.
“That is none of my business. You know the frog that has the tea? That's literally me right now," Sainz jested.
Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc clarified the chairman's words, stating, “John and I have known each other for many, many years, so we have a very good relationship and obviously we've been working together for many years."
“John is a very ambitious person and wants to push every people to the maximum in order to have the maximum results," the Monegasque added.
“I didn't actually see the news. John called me before that, just like he does after every races to catch up, and to also tell me that the messages he wanted to send was a positive one in saying we need to do better and that is clear for everyone," Leclerc added.
Seven-time F1 Champion Hamilton, who has yet to secure his first race win with the iconic Italian manufacturer, shared his perspective on the heated controversy.
“I'm always willing to do less media! But seriously, I think we all need to take responsibility in this team and play our part. There's so much passion in this team, every single member," said the Brit.

“I'm incredibly grateful for the extraordinary effort every person at the factory continues to put in week after week. Naturally, being Ferrari, there's always a huge amount of attention, not always positive, but we're all committed to turning this around and I'm dedicated to helping this team rebuild and grow," he added.
“Every challenge is an opportunity for us to grow and learn, and I firmly believe we will get to where we want to be," Hamilton signed-off.
