Yami Gautam Dhar's Makes A Case For Bringing Back The Era Of Wearing Saree Everyday

Yami Gautam Dhar's fashion choices are all about classy outfits and embracing the soft feminine. The actor, who is riding high on the success of her new film starring Emraan Hashmi, shared a new look from her promotional event. Draped in an elegant saree, Yami Gautam's newest look is a breath of cool summer air.

Draped in a soft, powder-blue floral saree, Yami is styled by stylist duo Allia and Nayaab. She wore a handwoven mulberry silk saree from Nadiya Paar with tiny pink and orange flowers. The saree has a surprisingly affordable price tag and costs Rs 25,000. The brand uses traditional techniques of handloom weaving and hand stitching to bring their designs, inspired by nature, to life. The saree, with its breezy, lightweight fabric and pastel hue, was both calming and elegant. She paired it with a white blouse to complement the saree's colours.

Like always, Yami Gautam kept her accessories to a minimum with a silver watch and gold earrings that featured mint green stones. She styled her hair in loose and tousled waves. Yami Gautam kept her makeup natural and dewy, with a dusting of shimmery pink eyeshadow, her cheeks looking rosy, and a soft, light pink glossy lip. The actor prefers to let her real skin show, and in this case, as well, one can see her beauty spots peeking through her makeup.

Yami Gautam Dhar expresses gratitude for audience's love HAQ

Yami Gautam took to Instagram today to share her gratitude towards her fans for the love they've shown her during the release of her new movie Haq. She starred in the film opposite Emran Hashmi.

She wrote on Insta, “In this new era of constant surround sound in the form of multiple reviewers, multiple cinephiles, multiple trade analysts, multiple benchmarks of a film being a success or not, right from day 1- with biggest Mondays, fastest Tuesdays, head-spinning Wednesdays, there came a small film of mine #HAQ ! Thank you for giving it so much respect, integrity & honour. Having said that, every film has its own journey & comes with a learning curve which I take a very thorough note of (sic)."

The actor went on to add, “As an artist, I still don't know what shall be a true validation for me & what can culminate into being my ‘right'. But I guess, the beauty of my profession lies in this mystery. And this is what shall keep me going, continue giving my best, looking for fresh stories, fearlessly & direct Dil-se :)"

She ended her note by writing, “I hope we are able to protect the integrity of our line of work from being plagued. In the end, as a member of this magical world called films, I want to say – good cinema should win…good cinema shall win. We will meet again, another Friday".
