President Donald Trump was joined by his wife Melania as they marked the 24th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks in Washington, DC, but his appearance sparked health concerns online. Viewers noticed one side of Donald Trump's face drooping during his speech at the Pentagon event. This comes after bruises were spotted on Trump's hand, sparking speculation about the US President's health.
Questions about US President Donald Trump's health have been raised again after viewers spotted what they described as a 'drooping' on one side of his face. The President, alongside his spouse Melania, was present to commemorate the 24th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
Videos of the event, and screengrabs circulating on social media show a ‘droop' in Trump's face, to one side and netizens noted something amiss with the commander-in-chief's facial expression in the video clips.
One X user posted an image of the president in which, they claimed: "He looks like he has had a TIA/minor stroke. This isn't a one off expression, he's been like this for 30 mins," as per Express UK News. A second X user claimed: "Don't usually buy into conspiracy theories much but Trump definitely looks like he's had a stroke at some point." A third claimed: "Trump struggling to keep his eyes open at 9/11 remembrance event at the Pentagon".

"Definitely has pronounced drooping on the right side of face and mouth, typical of medical condition. Fox News blurred out the back of his right hand which is covered in makeup."
Another individual commented: "Just watching Trump at the Pentagon. His mouth is slanted looks very like he had a stroke."
The speculation around Trump's health re-surfaced after worries over the bruise on Trump's hand and swollen leg. Moreover, at the recent US Open visit, a photograph showed Trump taking some kind of a blue pill, adding social media frenzy.

What can cause face drooping?
According to Cleveland Clinic, there are two possible things happening: either a facial nerve becoming swollen or damaged, or a part of the brain sending signals to the face becomes damaged. Facial paralysis happens when your facial nerve becomes damaged and this can result in weakness, droopiness and a loss of facial movement on one side (unilateral) or both sides (bilateral) of your face.These diseases and conditions that can lead to facial paralysis include stroke, bell's palsy, middle ear infections, skull fractures, autoimmune disorders like multiple sclerosis, tumors in the head, neck, or brain, facial nerve schwannoma (a slow-growing, typically noncancerous tumor on the seventh cranial nerve), Lyme disease, sarcoidosis, Ramsay Hunt syndrome, and Guillain-Barré syndrome.

As per CDC, there are several signs that indicate that a person has had a stroke. The signs include:
Sudden numbness or weakness in the face, arm, or leg, especially on one side of the body
Sudden confusion, trouble speaking, or difficulty understanding speech
Sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes.
Sudden trouble walking, dizziness, loss of balance, or lack of coordination.
There's an acronym, FAST, that can help recognize the signs of a stroke: Face – check if one side of the mouth droops; Arms – see if one arm drifts downward when raised; Speech – listen for slurred or strange speech; and Time – if any of these symptoms are present, call 9-1-1 immediately.
There has been no official update on Trump's health from the White House, and no confirmation of the president suffering any medical incident.

Social media users slammed CNN when the broadcasters continued to air, despite American President Donald Trump's face seemingly drooping.
