When Aishwarya Rai Opened Up On Multitasking: ‘Women Play Many Roles, It Is Not About Counting Hours’
Aishwarya Rai is celebrating her 52nd birthday today, November 1. Crowned Miss World in 1994, she is celebrated for her stunning beauty and successful Bollywood career, with films such as Devdas, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Jodhaa Akbar, Dhoom 2, and Guru, among others. The actress serves as a role model to millions of her fans and has always received appreciation for balancing her personal and professional lives.
Amid ongoing discussions about conventional working hours and the challenges faced by actresses who are also moms, she once said that she tries to ‘pack 48 hours in 24' to balance her work and personal life.
Aishwarya Rai Starts Her Day Early
During an interview with Harper's Bazaar Indonesia, Aishwarya, in 2023, revealed, “The rest of the world has 24 hours, but we're trying to fit a 48-hour day into 24. I believe that life is too complex to be reduced to a single pattern. One thing's for sure: my day starts pretty early. My day begins at least at 5.30."
Furthermore, the actress talked about the various roles women play and said, “I believe that as women, we multitask and play so many roles during the day that we don't even focus on the hours itself. It's more about getting the work done, doing everything exactly how we want it done, and seeing it through to completion and fruition. So, it is essentially what the course of the day is all about."
Aishwarya Rai On Staying Positive
The Jodhaa Akbar star shared her motto for being optimistic, saying, “We got to keep it positive; we got to be present and definitely committed while savouring the magic of every moment that the day has to present."
