WBSSC SLST Result 2025 Today At wbssc.gov.in For 12,514 Teacher Vacancies

The West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) will announce the WBSSC SLST Result 2025 today, November 7, for both Secondary (Classes 9-10) and Higher Secondary (Classes 11-12) levels. Candidates who took the State Level Selection Test (SLST) in September 2025 can check and download their results by visiting the official website at wbssc.gov.in.

To check their scores and qualifying status, candidates will need to enter their application number and date of birth on the official website, once the link is activated. Those who qualify will move on to the next stages, which include Document Verification (DV) and Interview rounds.

Step 1. Visit the official website at wbssc.gov.in.

Step 2. Navigate to the “Results" section on the homepage.

Step 3. Select “SLST Result 2025 – Classes 9-10 / Classes 11-12."

Step 4. Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and Subject.

Step 5. Input the captcha code and click “Submit."

Step 6. Your WBSSC SLST Scorecard 2025 will be displayed on the screen.

Step 7. Download and save it for future reference.

Candidates must carefully check the details on their scorecard:

– Candidate's Name

– Application Number

– Category (if applicable)

– Subject applied for

– Marks obtained

– Total Marks and Percentage

– Qualifying Status (Pass/Fail)

– Merit List Rank

In case of any error in the online results, candidates must report to the authorities and get it rectified immediately.

The SLST exam conducted by WBSSC aimed to fill 12,514 teacher vacancies across West Bengal. The exam for Classes 9-10 took place on September 7, 2025, while the exam for Classes 11-12 was held on September 14, 2025. Provisional answer keys were released on September 16 and September 20, respectively.

WBSSC had received an overwhelming response to its fresh recruitment drive, with nearly 5.9 lakh candidates applying for assistant teacher positions. This is almost twice the number of applications received in 2016. In comparison, around 3.16 lakh candidates had applied for similar posts during the 2016 recruitment.
