WBJEE 2026: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has announced the WBJEE 2026 schedule. As per the official notice, the entrance exam will take place on May 24, 2026. Interested students can apply for the West Bengal JEE from March 10 to April 5, 2026. Applications must be submitted online by visiting the official website: wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee/.
The application process involves registering, providing necessary information, uploading documents, and paying the application fee. After completing these steps, submit the application form and keep a copy for future reference.
WBJEE is a significant state-level exam for admissions to premier engineering institutes in West Bengal. It offers entry into B.Tech and other technical courses in several government and private colleges within the state.

Publication of Downloadable Admit Card: May 15 to May 24

The West Bengal JEE 2026 exam will be conducted offline using OMR sheets and will offer admissions to undergraduate programmes in engineering, pharmacy, and architecture. The exam consists of two papers: Mathematics for the first paper, and a combination of Physics and Chemistry for the second. Based on the scores in these papers, a merit list is prepared, and colleges are allocated through a counselling process.
WBJEE grants admission to many prestigious engineering institutes in the state, including Jadavpur University in Kolkata, Kalyani Government Engineering College, Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College, and several well-known private institutes.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed Class 12 (10+2) or an equivalent examination before 2026, or be appearing for the same in 2026.
Age Limit: The minimum age requirement is 17 years as of December 31, 2026. Candidates must have been born on or before December 12, 2009. There is no upper age limit for most courses, except for the Marine Engineering course, where the upper age limit is 25 years.
Candidates must note that the detailed notification and information brochure will contain the eligibility criteria in detail.
