Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna left their fans impressed with their philanthropic work after their Udaipur wedding. After tying the knot, they visited the famous Tirupati Balaji Temple to seek blessings. They also distributed sweets to the people across several cities in India as a celebration of their wedding. Earlier this morning, the newlyweds visited Vijay Deverakonda’s native place in Telangana. There, the couple greeted fans with a lot of warmth. While interacting with the locals, Vijay announced a special gift for the students of 44 government schools in Telangana through his Deverakonda Charitable Trust. The Arjun Reddy star has decided to give scholarships to the 9th and 10th standard students of the government schools.
In the viral video, Vijay Deverakonda is seen addressing the people of his village in Telugu. In his speech, the actor promised to give scholarships to the 9th and 10th standard students across 44 government schools in the Achampet division of Nagarkurnool district in Telangana through his NGO, the Deverakonda Charitable Trust.
The video further shows Vijay Deverakonda’s mother Madhavi getting emotional with pride for her elder son. Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna and his actor-brother Anand Deverakonda applauded his initiative. The people present there cheered loudly in appreciation for the actor’s announcement.

Vijay Deverakonda promised people of his native place that he would come to his village regularly from now onwards.
On Monday, March 2, Rashmika Mandanna made grihapravesh (house-entering) at Vijay’s house in his hometown. The newlyweds also performed a Satyanarayan Vratam Puja at their new home in Thummanapeta, Telangana. Rashmika looked stunning in a beautiful cream Kanjeevaram saree. During his interaction with the villagers, Vijay Deverakonda opted for a casual look as he wore an orange T-shirt and black pants.
Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna got married on February 26 in Udaipur as per Telugu and Kodava customs. They are all set to host a grand reception party for their industry friends and politicians in Hyderabad on March 4.

Due to excitement for the event, the couple informed their fans that their reception will be a ‘strictly invitation-only event’. The couple has asked their fans and media to cooperate with the organisers, as they don’t want to compromise with the security and safety of the guests.
On the professional front, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna will next be seen together in the film Ranabaali, which is releasing on September 11 in theatres.
