Vande Bharat Sleeper Train Review Claims It’s A Perfect Blend Of ‘Style, Space And Smart Travel Vibes’
The first Vande Bharat Sleeper Train is set to be launched in the second week of January. Operating between Kolkata and Guwahati, the train will be maintained by the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR). Ahead of the train's inauguration, visuals of the sleeper train and its interiors are circulating online, promising passengers a luxurious and comfortable experience.
A video dropped on Instagram by vlogger Akshay Malhotra showcases the majestic facilities offered in the Vande Bharat Sleeper Train. As Akshay said in his video, the first word that comes to mind when checking out the features is definitely going to be “wow."

In his video, Akshay was impressed by the facilities, particularly the privacy feature provided in the compartments. Travellers just need to press a button, and a dark screen will protect them from prying eyes.
The coach also boasts of reading lights, charging points, spacious tray and water bottle holders, ergonomically designed sleeper berths with comfortable cushioning and more.
In his caption, Akshay called the Vande Bharat Sleeper First Class Cabin a place where “luxury meets technology! Sleek design, premium comfort, and world-class features make this cabin an absolute stunner. Perfect blend of style, space & smart travel vibes."

The train also has deep wash basins to minimise water splashes and seat numbers labelled in Braille, as per The Times of India.
Users React To Vande Bharat Review
Many people were impressed by the train. “Extraordinary. Mind-blowing," wrote one user. “India ke public ko isko maintain karne k liye alag se training dena padega itna lack of civics sense hai," another claimed.
“Give it two months and people will ruin it," a user predicted.
One account commented, “Indian Railways really need to add windows for upper berths too. That alone would feel like a massive upgrade. Honestly expected this in the new Vande Bharat sleeper, but it's still missing."
“Government doing great work but the public should also be responsible," a comment read.
Vande Bharat Sleeper Train Features
There is CCTV surveillance across coaches. The Vande Bharat Sleeper Train coaches are equipped with the Kavach automatic train protection system to avoid collisions. There are emergency talk-back units for real-time communication with the crew. Superior suspension systems and noise reduction facilities will make the journey more comfortable.
While the train reached up to 180 km/hr during the trials, it will operate at 120–130 km/hr overnight. The fully air-conditioned train will have 16 coaches, with one First Class AC coach (1A), 11 Third Class AC coaches (3A) and four Second Class AC coaches (2A). It can carry about 823 passengers across all AC classes.

Vande Bharat Sleeper Train Fare
For the First Class AC coach, the fare is Rs 3,600 per person. 2AC passengers have to pay Rs 3,000, while 3AC travellers will be charged Rs 2,300.
