UP School Teacher ‘Mercilessly Hits’ Students Inside Class. Internet Wants Action: ‘If She Can’t Control Her Temper...’
A disturbing video has emerged from a school in Uttar Pradesh, where a teacher is seen thrashing young students for failing to learn their lessons. Dressed in a blue saree and speaking in Hindi, she is seen hitting them with a wooden stick and slapping at least seven to eight children aged around 10 years.
An updated video of the incident has gone viral on social media. It is being said that the video is from UP's Bhluahin under the Badlapur police station area of Jaunpur.
The teacher can be heard shouting, “Is all the responsibility mine?" as she continues the assault. The video has sparked outrage, with viewers calling the behaviour unacceptable and demanding action.
On the incident, Hindustan Live cited local reports, noting that soon after the incident, parents reached the school and strongly protested. Local authorities are expected to look into the matter following the viral circulation of the footage.

Explanation Sought From School
The report cited Block Education Officer Arvind Kumar Pandey to confirm that the viral video is from LBS Public School in Badlapur. He added that an explanation has been sought from the school and appropriate action will be taken.
The video has been shared by many X accounts, with one such receiving nearly 2,50,000 views. Nearly 400 people commented on the clip, mostly demanding strict action against the teacher.
“If a teacher can't control her temper, she has no business being around kids. This is completely unacceptable," a user commented.
Echoing similar sentiment, another said that many times, teachers are seen taking out personal frustration on the students.
“I had a colleague who had a very bad home life, she used to beat kids like this. Ultimately she was dismissed from school by the management." a user commented.

Another user shared a similar experience, noting that nearly a decade ago, beating students was considered normal, and many children from that time are still traumatised.
“I've experienced the same traumatising behaviour from the teacher who beat us and even threatened to kill herself and hang inside the class if we don't keep quiet. (this is the fourth standard by the way). Many Indian adults have negative emotional quotient/intelligence," he said.
