UIDAI sets up expert panel for 'Aadhaar Vision 2032'

India's Unique Identification Authority is assembling an elite task force to devise the Aadhaar Vision 2032 blueprint. This initiative aims to bolster the nation's digital identity framework and elevate Aadhaar's technological capabilities. By embracing global benchmarks for privacy and cybersecurity, this committee will prioritize fortifying defenses against cyber threats.

New Delhi The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has set up a high-level expert panel to develop the 'Aadhaar Vision 2032' framework, aimed at securing the country's digital identity ecosystem. The initiative seeks to strengthen Aadhaar's core technological infrastructure and align it with global standards on privacy, cybersecurity and data protection.

The committee, chaired by UIDAI chairperson Neelkanth Mishra, includes members from academia, industry and government. The framework will focus on enhancing security against cyberthreats.
