Social media users believe this might just be “the coolest video" they have come across lately and honestly, it is hard to disagree. The moment in question features two women dressed in sarees doing something most people would not even attempt in regular winter gear. They are seen snowboarding down a high, snow-covered mountain in Gulmarg, Kashmir. Yes, you read that right.
The moment was shared by Mumbai-based Urmila Pable who has been gaining attention online for her skateboarding and snowboarding skills. In the post, she teams up with another professional rider named Linda and together the two decide to bring a very desi twist to a winter sport.
Women Snowboard Down Gulmarg’s Snowy Slopes In Sarees
Both women are seen wearing sarees as they pick up their boards and glide down the snowy slopes of Gulmarg. The entire scene almost looks like a high-energy action sequence from a Mission Impossible film except instead of Tom Cruise pulling off the stunt, it is these two women confidently owning the moment.
In the clip, Urmila and Linda take on the snow-covered mountain while dressed in traditional sarees, something that immediately catches viewers by surprise. The combination of flowing saree drapes and smooth snowboarding moves makes the moment both stylish and thrilling to watch.

Unsurprisingly, the moment caught people’s attention and crossed the four-million mark in views. The comment section buzzed with admiration and plenty of cheerful reactions.

Priyanka Chopra Had Also Noticed Urmila’s Talent
Interestingly, this is not the first time Urmila Pable has caught the attention of the internet. Her adventurous spirit had previously reached Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra as well.
Last year, Priyanka reposted one of Urmila’s videos on Instagram Stpries after being impressed by her skateboarding skills. Praising the young athlete, she wrote, “Woah! Keep doing what you do. Amazing," and also tagged Urmila’s Instagram account.
