TS SSC Board Exam 2026 Schedule Expected Soon, Check Past Year Trends
The Telangana Board of School Education is expected to announce the exam schedule for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSC) 2026 examinations anytime soon. Those who are set to appear for the exam will be able to check the date sheet on the official website at bse.telangana.gov.in.
The TS SSC exam pattern uses an 80:20 assessment scheme, with 80 per cent of the marks coming from external board exams and 20 per cent from internal assessments. Each subject is worth 100 marks, making the total for all subjects 600 marks. Part B of any exam paper, except for English and Science, must be completed in the final 30 minutes.
Past Year Trends
Last year, the datesheet was released on December 19, and the Class 10 exams started on March 21 with the subjects First Language (Group A), First Language Part I (Composite Course), and First Language Part II (Composite Course). The exams concluded on April 4, 2025, with the OSSC Main Language Paper II (Sanskrit and Arabic). The exams were held between 9:30 AM to 11 AM or 12:30 PM, depending on the subject.
Passing Marks
Candidates must score at least 35 per cent overall and in each subject to pass the exam. To achieve an A grade, candidates need to score 750 marks or more. Those scoring between 600 to 749 are awarded grade B, while students with scores between 500 to 599 receive grade C. Scores between 350 to 499 result in a grade D. Candidates from the PWD category need to secure at least 25 per cent marks to pass.

The Board of School Education, Telangana, announced the TS Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSC) exam results for 2025 on April 30 this year. There was a slight increase in the Telangana SSC 2025 results compared to the previous year. A total of 92.78 per cent of students passed the Class 10 exam, up from 91.31 per cent in 2024.
